Not sure if anyone noticed, but the DMSS app (at least for Android) was updated within the last week (build date 9/26/21). I've noticed a couple of small improvements with it overall. Worth checking out (not sure if the Apple/IOS one was updated or not as it seems that version is more buggy... -

I have this NVR: I have this model Dahua DHI-NVR608-32-4KS2... I just noticed (didn't notice this before with my older 5216 NVR) that when in LIVE view in the NVR looking at a camera, wherever I click in the live view, a yellow dot just appears.. if I click in a different spot in the view... -
dmss notification
What camera models? I have some thermal cameras that record in events in the Alarm section of the NVR and in the Search/Playback section of the NVR, but will often NOT be recording in the AI-Search section of the NVR and when that happens, the DMSS push notifications are not received as well... -
Camera D3 not recording events properly
No idea what happened... When i switched out my DVR to a newer DHI-NVR6A08-32-4KS model today, the issue went away. Go figure. -

Thinking out loud here. I have a Dahua NVR. My Dahua NVR is added to my DMSS app (via the serial #). NONE of the cameras are added to the DMSS app -- only the NVR is. And I use the DMSS app to see the live video of all my cameras, through the NVR itself. I also get push notifications on... -

Just curious. It seems like most people agree the 12/03/2020 firmware release for the 5442's is the best for IVS. So why is IVS WORSE in 2021 these newer June-Sept releases? if they're just trying to improve SMD in the newer firmwares, then why is IVS effected/worse? Why not just leave IVS...- JesseSR

Can anyone help explain this? I have 12 cameras, but Camera 3 doesn't seem to be recording General video properly. As far as I can tell, I have it configured the SAME on both the camera and the NVR, compared to the other cameras? (but the Green line is all bluey-purply) Any idea what I can... -
