New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I feel like i've read almost every post in here, but I'm sure I've missed something somewhere. I received my doorbell today. RCA model Downloaded iVMS4200 so that I could change firmware, clear logos, etc. I'm stuck at first part. iVMS4200 sees the camera, I click on activate, and cannot get...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Updated can confirm that it no longer says subscriber not available. Nice next question I am using this camera with a home automaiton set up and it works well, but the picture from this URL is on 720p. Anyone have a good URL (not RSTP) that provides a 1080p image...

LaView NVR owners, are you receiving notifications on iOS?

I know this is an old post, but can anyone say what they did to get this working. Funny thing is I have 4 cameras on my NVR, no alerts. No motion, no line crossing alerts. I also have a laview branded doorbell, its not directly hooked to the NVR, its wifi. But I do get motion alerts in my...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I've had pretty much the same experience, but I've had mine for several months now. I don't use BI, but my porch is well let, no IR, full color night, and pic quality is great. Recording to NVR 24x7. I don't answer doorbell with my phone, volume is turned now, no doorbell buzzing, etc. Only...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I understand that all cameras will be shown in the list. I only have 4 cameras (5 with the doorbell). After adding the camera back today as a LaView protocol, I remember what my issue is. I think its just an NVR setting, any help is appreciated so on my Laview NVR, Cameras 1-4 are...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I had just kept the camera as OVNIF, which definitely limited the NVR capabilities, but at least I still had 24x7 recording. It can definitely be set up as a LaView camera though, but will require a little bit of manual config, which is very easy System --> Camera Management Select an...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I have the Laview version of this doorbell. Pretty happy other than losing motion alerts every couple of days. I figure its easy enough to fix in firmware. ANy changelog info for either of these updates?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Haha. The short answer is no it does not record full time to SD. At least not for me. It is “recording” full time. So when a motion alert goes off it starts the recording about 5 seconds before the event. I have an NVR that is also recording. So if I need full record I’ll check that.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

So, I was able to get the doorbell camera added to my LaView NVR with LaView protocol, but then had the weirdest thing happen. In the LaView Connect app, if I went to look at previous events, it would show me the feed from another camera (camera 1), if I watched Live View it was fine. If I...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

OK, I figured out my mistake with the NVR, When I flashed and the IP changed, I never updated the manual entry with the right IP. Bottom line, it does now detect as a normal LaView Camera, and I can configure motion zones, and set name and display info from the NVR. But my motion detection is...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Here's another question about the firmware. I updated a few weeks ago using the firmware file you provided. I then updated again using the app. Prior to the update I had added the camera to my LaView NVR. it auto detected, and I was able to set motion detection, name it, etc. It was using...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Have there been any firmware updates lately. I'm still having the issue with the doorbell losing it's motion zones every few days. Easy enough to set back up, but don't really want to have to do that. It seems like this would be something easily fixed in firmware.

I have a mechanical doorbell, but the other night we were having some power surges and my doorbell would ring. Not a full outage but enough to dim the lights. Do you think using the diode would work with a mechanical doorbell?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

On the LaView with the most current firmware I am also able to draw the motion detection area on the screen using the App. My issue is it seems to be losing the detection grid every day or so. I'm trying a few things. I had been using the Web GUI to set the motion detection. it had finer...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I had a Skybell HD, they go on sale a couple times a year for $129. You get 7 days of cloud storage for free, it does motion and door bell press alerts. My issue with it was the motion detection was not the best, so once it went off the video would start recording, and I'd see people walking...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I have both apps installed, and they both work. I actually find that I like the Connect app a bit better. My door bell is recording 24x7 to the NVR. I don't think I would get one if I already had a camera mounted above the door though. It might be a bit overkill and there are better intercom...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I have a LaView model and also a LaView NVR. So I use LaView Connect. When the button is pressed, you get an alert on the phone saying something like "Someone is calling from Front Door", Front door is what I named the doorbell. If you don't answer there will be a short clip of the button...

I was actually going to get on here today to post the same thing. My motion sensor seems to stop working every day or two. Are you setting it up via web interface, or the app, or both?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I have a couple lights, just older CFL bulbs, and when they were on, the IR never came on, video was in color. But when I turned them off, the IR kicked in, and stayed on. So as long as the porch lights are on and reasonable power, you "Should" be good.

OK, so here is my experience so far with the LaView branded doorbell. (I paid $129 during Christmas special) I have a LaView NVR and camera's already. I am using the LaView Connect App for iOS. Added using QR codes, just fine. Followed the instructions on the app. Was able to see the video...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Firmware update worked well. Had to reset doorbell, remove it and readd. It had a new MAC address as well. After updating using the file, there was another update available via the app, which I also applied. I can access just fine via the app, but unable to add to my LaView NVR now. Should I...
