    That's odd, usually http issues are CPU/RAM at max, bug in the firmware or IP Conflict. How are you powering the camera btw? AT POE switch or POE+ injection or the supplied power brick?

    Have you tried factory resetting the camera? Only other thing I can suggest is cleaning the lens.

    This has been echoed a few times now. Turn down your WDR/2DR/3DR, set your frame rate to 15-20 ish. Adjust the bit rate you are recording/sending at, try 2mbps up to 8mbps and see which handles motion best. Try using 264, less compression means less motion blur. And ADD MORE LIGHT IF YOU...

    HFW5231E-Z5 vs HDW5231R-Z?

    The Z5 is good for targets further out or for targeting certain locations. The Z is good for general coverage or for targets areas within 20m. (for ID) To be honest, the Z at 12mm at night would be better then a non-starlight 4MP at 25mm. (depending on the IR light levels)

    Gotta say the HFW is huge but it's optics are certainly better then the HDBW. But the HDBW firmware seems less dodgy. HFW doesn't come with the ability to turn off p2p ip etc.

    Get waterproof connector wrap? (There is one version that is made in American that can also be used to stop leaks.) I use it all the time with RF Coax Connectors, never had any leakage, could even drop it in a pool and it would still be water tight.

    Odd behaviour, the camera is either not FR correctly or his IP subnets are mismatched, or the device isn't picking up a DHCP lease? I just reset my SD29204T-GN by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds (pressed in the moment the power was turned on) and it found an IP for it's self via DHCP...
