    I tried out the 48 port today, and the 15 ports I tested worked. I couldn't figure out how to access the settings, and it is louder than I'd like. I will probably regrease the transistors and replace the fans with larger quieter fans.

    I did a few hard resets, then 3 factory defaults through the browser, then a few more hard resets, then 3 or 4 more factory defaults. I never once heard anything from any the resets.

    I never could get any clicks out of the camera after a few tries from 3 minutes to 8 minutes. After lots of adding, deleting, reseting, etc., I did get motion sensing to work on the first try. I'm not certain if it was just happenstance like prior attempts, or if something is actually fixed...

    If this were to work, is the difference in picture quality easily duplicated without the updated firmware? Now that I have seen the difference with the refurbished unit that works perfectly, I'm not certain I could go back to what I saw on the new one.

    Lol, I've blasted through that option so many times I forgot it was there. Unfortunately after a copy it didn't immediately act right. Even if I got it to work for a full 24 hours, how long would you all leave it testing before you were confident it wouldn't quit when you needed it most.

    At what point do you give up on a camera working correctly? I have 3 other cameras, that work perfectly, but this single camera is so inconsistent that I think I'm over it.

    I installed a second camera of the same model and didn't update the firmware. It seems to be working correctly. I actually felt like a pro because I know the settings so well now. It definitely felt like a win.

    The first time was 10 home, now 10 pro. I know it warned me of a gateway issue on home, but I don't recall if it did it after the upgrade.

    This is why computers drive me nuts. I just tried several times to right click, and it does nothing for me. I can either double click, or single click to highlight that line and click properties down below.

    It took me at least 2 hours to get my first cam running. The screenshots that wittaj posted are exactly what I couldn't figure out. Double click on the IPv4 line to change the address. It took me a long time to figure out the double click lol. It also gave me gateway warnings when I'd change...
