You're clicking on the file when it's still a 'snapshot' and it plays, but when the trigger times out without alerting, it goes away--I'm sure you and Teaf have your .db and New folders on the same drive right? When your cameras trigger, a .dat file is saved in the Alerts folder even if the...

I've had good results with 5.4.9.1 and .2 so I thought I'd share my applicable settings. I haven't experienced any of the error messages that have been reported here. Also, up until I took these captures, I WAS using facial recognition without any problems other than unknown faces weren't...

I'm on 5.4.9.1 and I'm not experiencing alert clips saved as substreams...for recording I have continuous+triggered set for all my cams. 5.4.9 has been working well for me...no issues as of yet any way. Also, DS seems to analyze at T-xxx on all my clips and none of my cams are set to use...

I had to cut my make time down to .1 or .2 for areas that need a quick response...and for these areas I have deepstack add 3 or 4 more real time images. For larger areas I set the make time anywhere from .5 to 1 second. I want the object to trigger when it's closer to the cam so the DS real...

It also appears you must have Object Detection checked in cam properties>Trigger>Configuration checked in order to see the highlighted motion boxes when analyzing the .dat file....otherwise they won't be available.

    5.4.8 - June 16, 2021 - A DeepStack status page has been added

For anyone interested, your analysis .dat files are located in your Alerts folder. As this update specifies, you can open your BI status window to the Deepstack tab, minimize BI if you need screen room, then drag the applicable camera's .dat file into the status window. Edit, I believe you...

Blue iris new to stored not working well

Now that we have Deepstack in the picture...should any of Deepstack's processes, files, etc., be excluded?

From Ken on the question I posed several days ago: "Trigger sources are: Motion, Audio, Group, External, ONVIF, DIO Unless you check this box, DeepStack will be applied to group, audio, DIO, etc. When you right-click a camera and "Trigger now" that's an External trigger."

"Apply to motion triggers only." Can someone give their opinion on the context of this option? Does the option provide for the use of deepstack during alert confirmation for motion triggers ONLY and not...what? Or is this option designed to analyze deepstack's previously confirmed and...

Last but not least, Unknown Faces. BI seems to have stopped saving them for quite some time now...anyone else experiencing this?

Some may wonder why I have zone A drawn the way I do (see photo above). It seems that when using Edge Vector, BI likes for objects to pass through zones for a good 'hit' so-to-speak.

    5.4.7 - May 25, 2021 - Support for DeepStack custom model files

I discovered something in my setup regarding alerts that might be applicable to some folks and might resolve problems...it's worth a check anyway. With deepstack if you want a camera to trigger you put the required object in the To Confirm box in cam properties>trigger>AI. If you want to be...

    5.4.7 - May 25, 2021 - Support for DeepStack custom model files

As of now the only issue I'm seeing is that using dark in the custom model box does not force BI to use only that model. Another interesting tidbit... in the Deepstack\sharedfiles folder face.pt exists, not faces.pt.

Here's what I've done: Enabled face recognition Enabled 'dark' in MyModels Using High mode Put people in the to confirm box, removed person from that box, placed dark in the models box...BI reported People in the thumbnail image after I went out and triggered the camera. (People or people both...

    5.4.7 - May 25, 2021 - Support for DeepStack custom model files

You could do the same now with your current clip. Take out dark and run openlogo...the analysis should use all models available. My guess is you're right about the nuance issue...not likely to work just yet even in the absence of 'dark.' Did you get openlogo to stop causing the flickering of...

Not sure about the analysis delay, but during playback analysis, all models seem to be used regardless of whether or not you've enabled them during detection. If you only use 'dark' and 'openlogo' in your cam settings, people, not person will trigger the alert, but during playback analysis...

It's calling it a truck or a van before it sees the logo right? So you don't know if openlogo.pt is working? If that cam is recording continuously, have you checked the test analysis of the continuous recording to see if it identifies it as a UPS vehicle?

On today's version (rebooted after installing) I'm unable to use the dark custom model by itself (the only custom model I've downloaded and put into c:\deepstack\mymodels)...faces, objects and dark all work, but I can't run dark by itself. In cam props/trigger/AI/to confirm I have...

    5.4.7 - May 25, 2021 - Support for DeepStack custom model files

Now that we're able to differentiate custom models by Blue Iris profile, how do we make it work so we don't get "people" and "person" in the analysis? Having BI point to C:\Deepstack\MyModels where the custom model 'dark.pt' is stored results in proper analysis alongside Deepstack's default...

The same happened to me with a 3MP Hikvision cube on BI 5.4.5.3...only happened to one of three Hik cubes that I have. All I had to do was reboot the camera by pulling power and it's been going steady for two hours now. I'll monitor and revert to 5.4.5.2 if necessary.
