    Are you talking about Trigger ->Sources -> Motion Sensor Uncheck that? The Get ONVIF trigger event? I had it unchecked, do i need to check it?

    If i want to eliminate the spotter cameras being triggered by all the cars driving by, should i use deepstack, or just setup Zone A be from the sidewalk to the house and then only have Zone A trigger the camera? or both, lol.

    When it moves to the South preset, it sticks there for 60sec, thats what i have it set at for the max..... I like the 60sec max, but i dont see any motion for that area when it targets it. Should i raise my motion sensitivity?

    I think the Find/Inspect thing did it! It is doing something interesting though, it is panning to the North, and i haven't setup the north stationary camera yet to move the ptz.....only the south one. the ptz is going all over the place right now.....it didn't really do this much movement...

    Yeah that was a mistake.....only PTZgroup (no "s" on both) So i should only have the PTZ camera in the PTZgroup? Maybe it needs that find/inspect thing.

    Ohh thats interesting! I didn't really get it about the whole "spotter cameras" thing that sebastiantombs and th182 were talking about. So......right now i have my ptz mounted on the second story in the middle of my house facing the street dead on. I have cameras on each side of the house...

    Seems like the perfect solution for a gate, i watched a youtube video of just that, and looked perfect. Just for a doorbell seems like overkill. I'll keep looking around and see what comes out in the near future.

    I've got a few in the front along with the ptz, but can never really catch peoples faces as they approach, unless they walk directly towards the house. I was thinking it would be interesting if it could pan back and forth until it locks on to someone.

    VPN Primer for Noobs

    I need to revise my thinking. I ran into my first problem with leaving the vpn on all the time. I noticed my phone wouldn't connect to android auto, and waze and google maps was offline when i tried to use it outside of my home network. Looks like i'll be leaving it off until i need it.

    Ooo....i like the idea of the main/sub recording, since i do record 24/7. My problem is that all but one of my cameras (as of now) faces the street, so if i car drives by, it gets a ton of alerts. I dont have any notifications setup up for alerts, but i've been messing with the software...
