Great job!! I would suggest a video, about setting up cameras for basic usage as well. Most of us would appreciate that. You know the contrast, manual settings for exposure and such stuff. Also PTZ settings would be great as well. By the way, where are you on Youtube? -

Which Toshiba IC is that? I had an issue with a Toshiba IC in Kenwood navigation unit, and by reheating it with the soldering station, it worked again properly. -
Memory leak and other issues
In the last couple of weeks, I have been fighting with a memory leak that bogs down my pc. I have even added more memory, which did not help. Tried downgrading to much older firmwares(5.7.x.x) which did not help. Deleted all the recorder clips from the drive, Not sure what else can I try? Any...- tibimakai

I have the newer model, and last night I have noticed that constantly was zooming into a neighbor's house and goind back to preset #1. Non stop was doing this. Even a soft reboot did not help. When I changed preset position, it stopped doing that. What could be the problem? -

When ptz moves and ir goes out, I would suspect weak power delivery. Measure the voltage, see if it drops. -

You don't have a thermal gun by any chance? Maybe that would show something overheating.
