    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

I am very happy with version 5.2.7.7 - it has not crashed on me and substreams work as they should, etc - the only improvement on this version I can think of would be using the full streams in BI3 when individual cameras are selected

    Support ended now evaluation version

seems to be a bug with version 5.2.7.10 and will most likely be fixed when 5.2.7.11 comes out in a few hours time (or grab an older version here: Blue Iris Updates (64 bit) - History )

I rolled back from .8 and .9 as they were unstable after a period of time.... very happy with 5.2.7.7 - it does all I need so not bothering to try .10

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

No problems here with PTZ zoom on substreams with BI 5.2.7.5 and Dahua cameras. @dewmgaze -> What "string" are you using for the substream (and what camera model)?

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

5.2.7.5 is now out and seems to have fixed all my problems (28 cameras, using substreams to cut down CPU usage) I can now double-click on individual cameras (in the main BI GUI) and see the high-res stream with no problems. CPU usage is still nice and low. Well done Ken! (I know, he doesn't...

First time camera user, IPC-T2431T-AS initial questions

To make it simple, if you have just a single PC cabled directly to the camera (no POE switch, no router), give the PC NIC a static IP address on the same subnet you suspect the camera is on (but not the same IP address as the camera), use a temporary 12v power supply for the camera (the DC...

or factory reset the camera to start again, connect it to a single PC with a static IP address and a 12v power source, to remove complications while you are trying to get the initial configuration done?

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

5.2.7.4 just out... Still problematic with sub-streams. Some of the cameras are OK but others result in a black screen when double-clicked from within the BI gui... and others just lock it up for a minute. Rolling back to 7.1 again.

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

same here [edit: I did not read this properly.... I have the above behavior happening with substreams enabled, but as I am enjoying the really low CPU usage, I am leaving the substreams enabled and reverting back to 7.1 until Ken finds the bugs]

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

Yes... working well here with 28 cameras sub-streaming. Can now double click on single cameras and see the normal (high) resolution stream. Very happy. [edit: have now reverted to 5.2.7.1 again as 5.2.7.3 still has some bugs with substreams, as Brian warned. It was OK for 40 minutes but then...

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

cool 5.2.7.2 worked for me..... until I tried to maximize individual cameras. At first it worked (and showed the full resolution stream when double clicked on a camera) but after several cameras were switched to sub-stream, it became unstable and would crash when individual cameras were...

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

On all my Dahua cameras (including 5231 ZE)..... I used /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1&unicast=true&proto=Onvif (i.e. copy and paste your main string but change the zero to a one under "subtype"

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

Very happy with this new feature! I have turned on & selected sub-stream for all 28 cameras and now have CPU (at idle) sitting at around 10% instead of 40% Stable with 5.2.7.1 Not stable with 5.2.7.2 (crashes when selecting individual cameras and have to kill the service to restart) Good...

Blue Iris Updates - Official Thread

5.2.5.5 is working OK for me but I notice slightly more RAM being used (7.04G vs 6G with previous versions) - 27 cameras, 1207 MP/s, i7-7700 @ 3.60GHz 16GB ram 64bit win10) CPU sitting around 50% but I do have limit decoding set for several "less important" cameras

    New Sentry Portal

update: images are not showing when left on the default setting of "last 24 hours" but if I change that to "3 days" (or more), I can see all the images per camera that suppressed alerts or images that resulted in alerts... I guess it is still work in progress
