FYI if this device is on a network that itself has access to internet then the doorbell phones home even if you don't configure it thru the app. If you want it not to then it needs to be in a VLAN that is NOT able to access the internet. -

If you log into every app and there is no camera in those apps and it still won't add to the app you want then you might have changed the onboard SSID or password which won't let it sync to an app. there is info about this in the 101. -

you might be stuck with the original app. I know hig/ezviz made there apps lock to a camera so you couldn't switch apps back and forth. Also you might need to factory reset the doorbell but if your on a different firmware there is a method to reset it without messing it up. Also, try tapping a... -

Sorry been away for a while. currently I have a 64 GB in my cam and my 256 GB in my LG 360 Cam until a firmware that supports it comes out for DB1. I hope the latest firmware has 256 GB support. they say versions higher then 5.2.7 should support 256 GB. -

FYI - In the last week I opened my EZVIZ app to connect to my EZVIZ doorbell and it warned me that if I continue to access my cam from the EZVIZ app that access from other programs will STOP and that I had to chose which app I wanted to use and stick to it. -

If someone wants the bell turned off I suggest downloading the EZVIZ firmware, using the EZVIZ app, turning off the bell, and downloading the firmware you want and it'll stick as long as you don't factory reset. -

Yes, for the VMs you most likely won't be able to see Live View since you don't have a valid graphics card. you might need to check that the "Virtual" graphics card is setup as something meaningful and loaded the VM tools or drivers for the Virtual Card. -

with this device having a SD card slot I bet you there is a recovery mode where if the firmware file's name is changed to the right name and put in the right folder of a SD card It should pull the cam out of a bad flash. It would take someone to hack the firmware or the JTAG or any serial port... -

Be VERY careful with factory resetting this cam. it is suggested you have your correct branded firmware on the cam before a factory reset so that it doesn't mess with your password. -

This is ONLY for the NON-ONVIF firmwares. it is prefered to use ONVIF when you have the ONVIF firmwares on the cam. -
