DH_IPC-HX25(8)XX-Molec_MultiLang_NP_V2.800.0000000.19.R.200628 should work on that hardware, but I don't have one to test/prove that. It does have that exact HWID in the check.img. May need to use TFTP to get it on there (not GUI upgrade...) -

What's wrong with the 2431 for you? good low-light capability translates into generally better images in all light, IMO.- pozzello

yeah, they may well be using the same 4MP chip, just dumbing down the output resolution to meet marketing 'needs' for a lower price point... i'd pay more for a 2MP with better specs, but might as well stick with 4MP on this one... -

if you can find the original firmware somewhere, then yes, you should be able to roll back. May need to use TFTP method (vs GUI 'upgrade'). See if they have FW for your cam here: Firmware Upgrade | Amcrest Technologies (need to give them an email address to access) eg, here's the FW fresh... -

@Lukkkas. welcome. first thing, you have way too much sky in your image. unless you are expecting thieves to come in on gliders or parachutes, there'se no sense pointing up so high. half of your pixels are showing nothing but sky. second, you'll never be able to cover all the access points... -

Increasing POE voltage
if it's just the one cam that needs PoE+ (up to 30w) vs regualr PoE (up to 15w) from teh NVR or current swcith, then just get a single PoE+ injector for use at the switch/NVR end for that one camera. but if your;e thinking of having multiple cams needing mor ethan 15w each in teh fture, then...- pozzello

Why are you insisting on a PTZ? Is your expensive car moving around while parked? :-) better to install two or more fixed cams for the extra vantage points. if you eliminate PTZ from your 'must-have' list, the options are much greater... how about a couple Lorex E891AB's, just as an...- pozzello

Review of the Hikvision OEM model IPC-T2347G-LU 'ColorVu' IP CCTV camera.
see my screen shots above. the 'thresholds' parameter seems to control how long the light stays on after being triggered. letting the cam trigger the light mostly works, but i've found i can get less delay and better control using BI to control the lights via curl, as i explained above as well. -

so, on my T2347G(1), i can make the gain slider disappear ONLY with the 'scheduled-switch/common' settings. I have no 'auto' option. of course, the GUI may vary with the 8mp G2's, but it does seem to have something to do with one's day/night settings... -

this is patently not true. i have many Hik cams. my 2032's have it. my 2342wd-i on V5.5.82 build 190220 does NOT. My T2347G(1) does have it, as I posted earlier in this thread. So either Hik occasionally decides to hide it for some reason (marketecture!) or some versions of teh FW are... -

er, i wasn't suggesting paying for firmware updates. just that Andy sells these, and he's also historically been able to get Dahua engineering to fix things reported to him by his customers. I hope your fever gets better. :-) -
