    doesnt find and inspect find it on the network? have u logged into the phone app and turned on onvif and rtsp and rtmp?

    the only reason you would get the G4, is if you are already locked into the ubiquiti eco system. no other reason. the cams are priced extremely high for the quality you are getting out of them.

    really u just pick up a raspberry pi and a memory card, and just follow the video above. im using the pi400 (got a good deal on it and had a built in keyboard) but u can go with any raspi 4 and add an SD card.

    not sure if you have ever worked with a RasPi before.. they are amazing devices. but def harder to set up. of course you are going to spend more money on an item like yours thats turnkey right out of the box.

    yea, most of the same features. u run piVPN and pihole. doesnt have a hot spot, but there may be an add on of somesort.
