Here is a quick look at the new interface with the 4.0 firmware. Almost a smart PSS style with the top tab layout. Chrome is the first half and the NVR is at 2:55, they have just about the same functions.- jmcu

I have a few Dahua large PTZ cams, the 48x is the largest zoom from their Ultra series and It is one big camera with a big price tag. It does a good job and is a great camera. Need PTZ recommendation please
You don't even need the "best 4k" cam. The best security solution for most is several fixed cams covering the desired location. A 2mp will show you the same image as a 4k camera. The difference is when you want to do a digital zoom it will look slightly better, and maybe if your reading plates... -

There are a wide range of PTZ cameras that would almost meet your needs depending on your budget, from $200 to 2000. I say almost because if you are relying on auto tracking to do anything you will be disappointed. There are many that have auto tracking and some work fairly well, but not many... -

I am sure you could if the PoE switch supports the power load for the cameras. PoE+(802.3at) Power Consumption:13W,23W (IR on) each. Most switches I have seen have only 1 PoE + port. You may have to assign IP addresses to the cameras, by default they will be the same @ 192.168.1.108 and I...- jmcu

I see you have the 8P- NVR. This changes the IP address of the cameras so you will not see it with the config tool. This is why I always go with non PoE NVR's and then add my own PoE swith. That way I can address the cameras the way I want. Can you see the IP address of the camera in the NVR...- jmcu

In Smart PSS you can not connect to the camera under the NVR list and set IVS for the camera. You need to put the camera's IP address in the device list and then you can see the IVS controls under the camera by right clicking.- jmcu

If the controls are working in manual mode with no issues, I would try to delete the rule and redraw it. I did have some issues when I used a different brand PTZ with the Dahua NVR, even though it was "compatible" I had many issues. I would try to remove it from the NVR for testing and see if... -
