    Yeah, would like to see that also. But i guess it stays quiet now. I put also a lot of trust in Andy (@EMPIRETECANDY) to come up with a workable solution, but I'm also starting to doubt if this PTZ is really worth it's price. And then what?

    Again very impressive compared to the Dahua. The problems with the Dahua really need to be handled soon, or I will considder sending it back to Andy. Focus and tracking from what i see in your video's is what the Dahua should do better. But it is definitely not. By daytime it's doing quite ok...

    Make sure the target filter is set to Min Size (not to Max size as in my screenshot)!!

    This is how autotracking should work (in my humble opinion): The bold guy is me btw ;-) And here another good sample: So this is with the September 2016 firmware! I'm happy with my PTZ for now. Just anxious to see if i'm still happy after dark ;-)

    Nope, i didn't change anything in the Global tab. I have no idea what that section is about. Changes there don't seem to affect operations of the PTZ.

    Andy, I'm on the september 2016 firmware now and that version seems to bring my zoom back in autotracking mode. Also the focussing is better than the July one. I will wait and see how it performs during nighttime.

It takes forever to focus in the July 2016 firmware version. That is actually worse than having only 2x zoom in autotracking. So that's why i went back...

    Not after fighting with this f**ing thing for weeks now. If i apply firmware July 2017 it zooms correctly. If i apply firmware March 2017 right after that, it doesn't zoom correctly. Back to July 2016 and bam: zoom is back. I didn't change anything else, just the firmware.

    Zoom in the new firmware is only 2x (occasionally 3x) in autotracking. I will wait for someone who can send me the September 2016 firmware, so i can test further. The focus issue on the July 2016 firmware forced me to go forward to the March 2017 version again ;-(

    Ok people, here are the results from the Dutch jury. I took nightshots with the same settings on both firmware versions. See how in the July firmware my zoom is fine. However it has a hard time focussing, a problem that I have seen reported here many times. So that is definitely a July 2016...

    Nope, I don't trust that site. I'm not taking that risk. One of our forum friends send me a link to his firmware binary. That one works for sure. My zoom is back, but tracking is worse than with the March 2017 firmware. I've just upgraded again from July 2016 to March 2017. Now wait and see what...
