    Yeah, so it's kinda hard to take the back plate off and do a hard reset.It's about 9 meters up.

    Well, done what you suggested. Put the camera back to default. After that my IP was still the same though, so it's definitely not a factory reset. Then i loaded the March 2017 PAL firmware again. But no different result. Perhaps I should first go back to the previous firmware version?????

    Ok, just to make sure I understand: First i set the camera back to default. Then i change back the IP (if it is changed to default also) (BTW, what is the default IP?). Then I upgrade again with the March 2017 firmware. Next I will again upgrade also the PTZ software. That's it?

    No, i have it set up on my Hikvision NVR as an Onvif camera. But i do all my setup in Firefox WebUI.

    Mine is set to 192.168.178.205, but i'm worried that setting it to default will also set my IP back to default. But perhaps i should just try it and see if i can connect to it.

    Nope, i just updated it straight on. Should i have set back to defaults before then? Will that also change my IP config? I don't want the camera to go back to the default IP address, because I cannot connect it to my laptop to change it back to my preferred settings.

    Those settings were not there in my previous firmware and the Global IVS tab has disappeared completely in the march 2017 firmware ;-(

    Well, i installed it and it changes the PTZ software. No idea yet what exactly it changes, but the PTZ software version seems to have changed. See the before (left) and after (right) version details.

    Running into some issues now with the new (march 2017) firmware. The PTZ doesn't zoom in while in autotracking mode. No setting to change that ;-(((((((( When the PTZ starts tracking it doesn't go beyond 2x zoom. Mostly it even stays on 1x zoom (so no zoom). I wonder what this might be. Also...

    Interested to know your setup then. Care to share? By day tracking is almost spot-on, but after dawn it still fails miserably.

    Well, it's night and -> autotracking still sucks. I'm starting to give up on this camera as far as IVS autotracking is concerned ;-(
