    Mounting to Soffit with no backing?

    I used 3 sheet metal screws to secure junction box after drilling 1 center hole in aluminum soffit to pull cat 6 through. It holds fine just hand tighten. I mounted 2 2831 bullets.

    Mat200 said u can add dahua cams to lorex nvr. Maybe buy 1 lpr cam and add it. Check out bigredfish youtube channel. He has awesome videos of that cam and a 4mp starlight bullet which i will buy when i upgrade my nvr to 4k.

    Im in a corner lot so i can everywhere that isnt fenced in. I leave the camera zoomed up on street so i can read license plates. Eventually I will replace with ultra starlight so I can read plates at night. Eric

    I have mine hooked up to dahua 4208p nvr. I plugged poe+ power into a surge protector. Then run patch cat6 to nvr and another cat6 to camera. Eric
