    For a test bump all cameras resolution to 1920x1080. I have a couple of 4mp cameras and when I did that it dropped CPU considerably. I also don't notice any difference in image quality.

    I have the same problem. Given up on the Android app and using IPCam viewer for the nightstand tablet. Only using the app to view clips and current view on my phone.

    That's what I am doing also. I mask out some bamboo that will set off the detector in moderate winds and I don't get any alerts on Cloud/Sun changes so it is not giving me any false alerts.

    What firmware versions are on these cams? I couldn't get SmartIR on the 9/16 firmware. It's there on the 3/17 but then there are no global settings for IVS.

    So you used the Normal Profile which means this is also for daylight. No issues there with these settings?

    Is that a Preset? If so mine has no problems moving to a preset and focusing OK. I have changed my focus to the highest setting +200, Auto, and High sensitivity.

    Well I thought you were pointing out that the Yunch was doing as g Just was saying that there didn't seem to be a problem focusing on the "toy". Maybe I was misunderstanding your post about the the Yunch was handling it better - yes/no?

    Also if you look at the video I sent you, you will see it having the problem of focusing at first but once it got tuned in it stayed pretty focused as the walkers moved. Mine was in broad daylight so no IR used. Plus we are mainly talking about the focusing issue not how well the auto tracking does.

    Well I'm actually trying to help. Could be the MB, but trying a few things on the camera is pretty easy to eliminate any issue there. Also JUST for trouble shooting you could lower the resolution to 1080P. Won't hurt to try.

    Have you set Bit Rate to constant and 8192 and quality to best?

    Dou have re-encode to x264 checked? That is the default and I was having the same issue and unchecked that and it plays fine in WMP now.

    Did you make any changes in the Global Tab? Installed this and right off I can say the night settings are much worse for my area. The 2017 FW had a SmartIR setting for the IR light that made a big difference. I will try this out for the tracking today, but if it's about the same I will go for...

    OK. Was checking to see if we're on the same one. That's what I have and my zoom and auto-track work as good as the old FW. Really weird that we're all having different experiences.

    Did you upgrade the PTZ firmware? There is a separate FW for it.

    No I left that alone. Since I didn't know what it did, didn't want to try it yet.

    Mine definitely zooms more than 2x on most of the tracking.
