You were asking if this was the right firmware and thought you didn't see the previous post. ;)

    It's working fine on mine.

Here's a sample of the Auto Tracking. Still fiddling with the Focus.

Well I don't have any issues with the new firmware. Auto tracking working the same and like I said before I now have access to the "Conditions" settings of the camera in SmartPSS now. Also zooming and panning is much faster now, and night vision is now looking like a Starlight should.

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

Finally had a car come by and there wasn't any difference in the zoom. I would guess it's been about 4-5 clicks of the zoom button.

PTZ portion of the Firmware update went OK. So if anyone wants to update it's safe.

The newest PTZ version is 3.02.20 and on about page 5 or 6 on the FW site.

I used that file and was able to update OK. Also I see there is a newer PTZ firmware and I'm going to try it.

So what version of FW are you on?

    Problems with sd59225u-hni-ptz

Which Default button did you push? The one under system? If so try hitting the default button under conditions. The one under System did not reset all of the condition settings for me. Once I did that I got much clearer video, faster PTZ and focus.

Tuning my Intel NUC D54250WYK or buy a new box.

If you only have 1 camera you might get away with double purpose. But if you are going to add more cameras I would suggest to have a dedicated BI machine. Ebay for any i3770 or above would be OK and then get whatever you want for the Plex server.

Tuning my Intel NUC D54250WYK or buy a new box.

I replied to you on the Dahau thread, here is what I found out. I had just gone through a setup with a NUC also, a 5i5RYH. Loaded up both WIN7 and WIN10 and it struggled with my 7 cameras at 30fps. It was slow even though CPU was at 50%. Couldn't use the timeline playback on BI without it...

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

My video was looking a little blurry and not crisp also. I had reset the camera to Default using the global Default option and wasn't helping much. But one day I was at the picture settings and hit the default on the page and BAM, the picture cleared up. My 5231R-Z was also blurry and I had...

Firmware for newer dahua cams as well as detailed specs available here

I just installed it and it finally lets SmartPSS 2.0 have access to the setup configuration. I also had the PAL version and installed the NTSC version, no problems yet.

    Dahua 2MP Starlight Lineup

I found this in SmartPSS and it seems to work.

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Maybe try setting the camera to another port. I have mine set at 4000 and it works.

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

Sorry should have been more clear. Using whichever Dahua setup SW you are using under Network settings. Not BI.

    Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

1 and 2 - I have mine set to Dahua HFW2300R-Z/230R-ZS/81200E and have checked "use another port" with the HTTP port you have setup under "Connections" for the camera. I am able to use the Zoom function under BI this way.

NIce to know! Good work from Ken.

    4MP using H.265 codec

So does that mean you're seeing a 2x drop in CPU usage? Less network bandwidth?

Ok different product lines, kinda makes sense. But regarding generations haven't the two PTZ's just been released within the last year, if that's what you mean by generations? Just wanting to know. Shouldn't it be close to the same steps to setup say intrusion detection if they both have it...

Reolink RLC 410 and Blue Iris

Well as I have said I'm running mine at high, recording 24x7 with zero issues under BI. So there are at least 3 people posting on this thread that seem to have gotten them working fine under BI. They do fall short for night moving objects and that is the reason I'm replacing the couple that will...

Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

That's a good video, but as hmjgriffon said and as I have found out each camera seems to have a different interface for setting up IVS. For example the video you posted doesn't match what comes up for my 59225 but does somewhat match up with the one for my 29204T-GN ( I have to use Firefox with...
