New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Because some of the other firmware’s have onvif support, so for example when someone gets picked up by the cameras pir, it can tell BI, then BI will send me a notification with a 10sec gif so I can see who is snooping around or at the door, and BI will do that by the time you have read this.

Are you happy with iOS Blue Iris mobile app?

I've been using BI for over 10yrs now and for myself it is far superior to anything else i have used and seen, super customisation with detection, scheduling and push notifications to ios, the mobile app is just as good for me, although not the slickest looking, it just works and i find it easy...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Yeah i know what you mean, was just trying to get quality and quantity but may have to resign to just the 1, will see how it goes. Although BI showed no disconnects over 24hrs on the 5GHz, just the app lost touch.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

If i use the Hikvision firmware then with the motion sensor page in batch config, does it work independently to the pir sensor or is that the area the pir will cover and alert if need be, is this tied to the pir detection area on the notification settings in app, are they 2 different things or...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Yes or if BI could do it via curl, that would be the ideal solution for me, BI geofence works well, i do have smartthings but only for the Sage db and Alexa, i don't know enough about it all myself and would't know were to start, i do curl my cams for day/night settings and that was a stretch...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Yeah found that but could do with knowing what pin goes where. Edit, and whilst your here, i do not have a chime so when i put the power kit in i wire it in series, then i basically put the sage wires to the same connections, sage in parallel to the power kit? Cheers

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

This is myn, the SKY ones, but before i moved the router the SKY 144 was at the top and the SKY 450 was a lot lower because the signal was a lot weaker due to not travelling as far, 5GHz only around 15ft i believe.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Not throwing fuel on but, i have reset to a single ssid now and noticed when setting the network in batch config it does show 2 of my ssid but with different kb/s, one at 144 and one at 450, so now chose the 450 one and all good. Which is something people could be made aware of. Cheers Now...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Thanks for your help with this, i seem to have sorted it now, and i am sure this was the root of all my dropout problems, i had the doorbell setup on my 2.4GHz which only gave me 124kB/s, which if my calculations are not far of is less than 1Mbps and the camera demands around 2Mbps, hence the...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

And if I get a wired AP closer with the cam default to using 5GHz, instead of the 2.4 this is currently using on my extender. And how to I know or tell the cam to use 5GHz. Cheers

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Not sure what this is but after having numerous problems with dropouts visible through BI and going through all 101 troubleshooting, I have I think found I can get stability if I leave the image settings on default, medium quality, 1024 bitrate and 15fps, this is showing as around 130kb/s in BI...

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

I notice the motion detection area in the Hik firmware is more segmented than others, if I set this area in the Hik app on my phone then use the Ezviz app without messing with the area in there, will it use the Hik setting. Cheers
