    Have you checked your definately connecting to the right port and the right up address? You will need to use your external ip address from your isp If your are doing this thosevplease make sure you set up a vpn

    Your zoomed too far out to even attempt to track those birds because they are so small. My camera won't even do that it just stutters and freezes. I'm starting to think there is a hardware fault with my camera because it's way worse than that I can't even pan and tilt properly

    Yeah I'm in the UK it was purchased from Andy. I am on that latest firmware, haven't enabled the OSD though. Wouldn't have thought these temps in the UK would cause issues Haha Oh and I'm running mine at 15 FPS

    I even get it with manual PTZ annoying as hell. Basically just use the camera as a static camera now. Cant say I'm overly pleased after the money I paid for it

    Yes but you will need to run the respective desktop firmware or blue iris. It will only record when the computer is on so that means leaving it on 24/7 This is best done on a dedicated PVNVR/blue iris machine

    Port 8000 is the port the hikvision app will use. Download the hikvision app on your mobile Set the IP and add the password (I'm not sure if you know it or not from your posts) And see if it works. If this works the http is on a different port to 80

    What port is sadp saying the camera is using? It sounds to me like it might be a dodgy network cable. Or as I mentioned before using a port other than the default 80

    If you cannot access the web gui my bet is the access port is different to the standard 80. I know I have my http port different on 1 camera and if I don't put the full ip including the http:// and the :port number it won't access the camera This wouldn't mean that sadp tool can't see it...

    SADP is the tool this camera uses to find these cameras I have 2. The only other way will be to try the onvif device manager tool
