    @!NoName! Not tested other things, but I use, curl -s --globoff --digest --user <user>:<password> "http://a.b.c.d/cgi-bin/devVideoInput.cgi?action=autoFocus" For auto-focus via cron-job, and it still work

    Mmm ... not able to get sub-streams of the cameras from NVR , reverted back to previous fw, sub-streams ok.

    Not tested in deep yet, but noticed a couple of things, it asks to install the plugin for the video previews in the AI events, and the PEAP, using dot1x, seems not working anymore, I switched to EAP-TLS (creating and loading cert and key), NVR successfully authenticated.

    I mean, are the cameras hooked up directly to the NVR ? If yes, didi you try by connecting a laptop to the inbuilt swicth of the NVR, set a static ip address consistent (eg.10.1.1.100 ?), and try to connect the cameras on their shown ip address ?

    Can you edit the camera, in the NVR menù, using the old NVR's password ? Of course if you have forgot the old password .... :) You may have to reset the cameras as well, since the cameras may take the NVR password, when associated to the NVR (with old version, you can try with admin admin, but...

    I too didnt see the 'Algorithm authorization expired, please update license' message, moreover, the 'IVS as well as the 'Face detection', seem working fine (to be honest, these features were working even with the pre-loaded firmware). @betogar Did you try a factory-reset ?

    Well done, @looney2ns ! I too have installed the new fw, not tested in deep yet. By any chance, did you play with the IVS, Global Setup ? I'm not been able to correctly validate the calibration (yet, since is always reported the double of the actual length), have to play with it again.

    I use dot1x, with auth failed vlan XX, this VLAN XX is the192.168.1.0/24 network, so, I can reset one camera at time, and reconfigure without too much troubles, if needed. Cheers,

    @Monique Can you share some video/pics of your cameras, in low/bad light condition ? A video, in real world installation (not one of youtube commercial videos, often done, for both day-time and night-time, in excellent lighting conditions) well worth more than a tons of words.

    Definitely yes, you can use the product selector for compare the specs (on dahua web site, upper left corner, "I want to... ", then, drop-down menù, "Product Selector").
