IMOU Bullet 2 - How to access WiFi on BI
I am running BI 5.4.1.1 and have just obtained an IMOU Bullet 2 WiFi camera. Posting here as I believe IMOU is the consumer version of Dahau - please move if in the wrong place. I have set up the camera using the IMOU Life android app and have connected the Wifi to my network. I can see live... -

@bp2008 - I am pleased to say that I now have this up and running - for the PC and Android users. Users on iPads running OS14.4 flash the image on the screen and then report "video error: hls:3" Just wondering if there is a workaround when using the "http://IP : port/livestream.htm?cam=Cam"...- Dewcal

Many thanks for such a detailed reply. The first part seems relatively straightforward (says he before he tries it out!) so will have a go at this tonight. With respect to the sharing, is the HTTP syntax for livestream as simple as "http://IP:port/livestream.htm?cam=Owl" ? It seems far too...- Dewcal

@TonyR - many thanks for this code - also what I needed. One of my cameras is located on an Owl box and I looking to be able to stream the nesting activity for a month or two - not perhaps the usual use! I assume that there is no way of safely allowing viewing without me setting up...- Dewcal

Blue Iris and IFTTT
I know this is an old post but hoping you can help me. I am trying to get an alert from BI to turn on a light via IFTTT. I have cut and pasted the above syntax into the https box (using my BI camera name & maker key) to no avail. I know the camera is sending an alert as it sends me an email... -

BI Alert to switch on light.
Am not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes. Have BI 5 (latest version) picking up motion alerts and would now like to be able to get these alerts to switch on a light. The ligths are standard LEDs controlled via TUYA wi-fi using the "Smart Life" app. I am not a programmer so have...- Dewcal

Wondering if anyone can advise please? EZVIZ DB-1 running using EZVIZ firmware and mechanical chime operating off 24v transformer. This week I had to reset the bell as the SSID had changed. All seemed fine except that it will no longer ring the mechanical chime. None of the wiring was touched... -

If it helps, I am running EZVIZ DB1 with the latest EZVIZ firmware and recording 24/7 to BI (latest release). I have the EZVIZ app on my Android to talk with bell pushers. I do see occasional drop outs where no signal is picked up but these last seconds. I do not record to the EZVIZ cloud. -

Many thanks for reply. As the unit still has the EZVIZ firmware it looks liking removing the bell from Hik-Connect, putting it back on the EZVIZ app and then removing the "chime" and then go back to Hik-Connect. okay, a job for a rainy day! -

A further update which may or may not be of interest. All now seems to be running well, I have installed a Haydon – Safety Isolating Transformer – 24V ~2000mA, 48VA as the power source and a Mechanical Chime – Eterna DC1WH - which I am sure is a standard chime just rebranded with UK supplier... -

OK, as an update, I have managed to configure the borrowed extender - Netgear EX6120 - and reset the DB1 to use this. While still using the 12vac1A PSU (until I get uprated...) I am delighted to say that the bell has not gone offline once in the last six hours - hopefully not famous last... -

Hi Phatboyj, Thanks for reply and welcome. Having read the "power section" of 101, I knew I would be underpowered when getting to fit a chime / bell. Always an optimist, I had hoped the existing transformer would power it as a bell. I will have a 24v 1A source next week for a loan in a few... -

Thanks IAmATeaf, I have a user created - Anonymous - and set to only view one group - which only has one camera in - yet it still shows them all on the TV! Now 23.00hrs UK Time so will experiment more tomorrow.... -

Am a 48 hour old new user of BI (v5, latest update) and enjoying using it with my five cameras so far. Thanks to those who provided the syntax further up the post, I have been able to get ui3 to appear on my "smart" TV browser but have two issues.... Firstly with an anonymous user, set to LAN...
