That's some impressive zooming. What are you using? ... A $10,000 camera?

    Cockroach triggers Ring Security Camera

That's an excellent point. This was basically a false alarm and one of the reasons why the police eventually become laxed on responding to alarm calls. What's also notable to me is the high cost of policing (salaries, vehicles, weapons, and other equipment) to catch a thief stealing household...

    Velvet.....

The lead deer was the scout checking to see if it's safe for the others to cross the street. I experience this once while driving when a large buck stepped into the middle of road and stood there, refusing to move. I was some distance away, but after I stopped he crossed the street and about 10...

    Bird Fight Club

Those Blue Jays must belong to the same gang. I've never seen a group of birds fighting like that. But, I'm disappointed. I expected to see them exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and pull out a Glock or AR-15.

    Dogs ripping car apart

Amazing! The dogs learned to ripped the front bumper off of the car to get at something in the engine compartment. There must be something tasty under there. I wonder what it could be. Also, those other beastly animals just demonstrates how weak humans are. Animals don't have engineered...

    Your Best Spider Pics

I'll have to dig up some images of my spider shots. I have plenty of them, but never thought about cataloging them. As I grew older I used to yell "Get off of my grass!" to the kids. Now (much older), I yell "Get off of my cameras!" to the spiders. Neither group ever listened to me :idk: ...

Bobcat nearly snatches some of my chickens...

The joys of rural living! Questions: Did the bobcat get any of the chickens? Why did the chickens eventually run in the direction of the bobcat? BTW, When I first saw "bobcat" in the title, I was expecting to see the construction vehicle, not the animal ... LOL!

It's the opposite. A human foot is generally bigger these days. So yeah, 50 ft in the 60's is much shorter than 50 ft today.

    Mom's Bats are back

They seem to fly so low. Is there a problem when opening the door to go outside at night? In other words, do you have to worry about being hit by a flying bat?

    Nice Mask

Even though he's outside, you're assuming he won't run into the homeowner or someone else while delivering their package. I'm sure that during the course of his delivery day he has close contact with several people. It is not a "useless 'feel good' symbol". He's being cautious because the mask...

Brave or stupid? Teen girl pushed bear off wall

The young girl had an advantage because momma bear had to worry about keeping her balance on the wall. Had the bear fell into her yard, or was already on solid ground, then it would have been a disaster for the young girl.

Don't you wish your camera could do this?

I'm impressed and also depressed. I'm impressed with the 360 view and quality. However, I'm depressed to see that from a bird's eye view, so much concrete, steel, and glass looks like a garbage dump site.

New Orleans Man Has Truck Stolen Out Of His Driveway

OK. It just seemed staged, but not surprising that it's real given today's toxic criminal environment.

Gas Station Explosion - Truly a WTF???

How does a gas station recover from such a stupid and careless act? The whole gas station was destroyed along with their car. Plus, the firefighters' lives where in danger the whole time. Who pays ... the insurance company?, the idiots?, the station owner? This is mind boggling!

Attempted highway robbery - CIT Driver is one cool operator

No, I have not been in a similar situation, and it's not something on my bucket list. I'll take your word on your experience. I'm also OK with you not wanting that guy. That's your choice. However, as I said earlier, I still see it differently than you and I'm OK with that too.

I agree that the driver did an excellent job, and is obviously experienced at handling an attack of the that nature. However, I don't understand all the negative responses about the passenger. He appeared nervous of course, but he didn't freak out and was able to maintained his composure. And...

Gas Station Explosion - Truly a WTF???

Holy Shet! It's a wonder that they didn't get blown up with the explosion. I don't think the explosion was caused by a vape device, unless it is an unregulated device. Unregulated, unprotected vape devices are rare these days. My guess is something inside the car was already giving off...

Coyote Coming Down The Street At 9:17 AM

Question: Are all those car engines giving off heat, or is it picking up heat for some other reason? I assume the cars have been parked for quite awhile, and thus should have cold engines. Yet, the heat signatures are the same as the moving cars.

I believe those are actually hares. Their long ears and size is what distinguishes them from rabbits. BTW, Bugs Bunny was a hare also. Elmer Fudd had it wrong. Bugs wasn't a Silly Wabbit, but a Silly Hare.
