Are these intrusions or uninvited guests?

There are consumer grade routers coming out with active firewalls/AV stuff now... I want to say Netgears' interface looks clean, alas they want to charge for it... I know the TPLink stuff is free, but if you want to get into the nitty gritty, pick up a pfSense box... Pretty cool stuff....

Looks like it is just not "getting" the .img file. Not sure if this will help, but move the flash/tftp files to the root of your hard drive (Place the fw root/tftp folder and files directly on the C:\ drive) and ensure you have admin privileges on that folder. Also looking at your capture...

    Hello from CA

Greetings from Sac This cam is working great for me setup as an LPR https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B9NFPR3 I have about a 30 degree view and is roughly mounted to my trellis 150' back. Head over to the LPR section of the forums for more reading on this stuff...

Hi again, Are my eyes getting old or are there any extra spaces after the "." in those text strings? How about a leading space before logo? (Can't tell if there is or not?) I used an unmanaged switch between my pc and the nvr... I wouldn't use a POE switch between the two, just a dumb switch...

Hi @Otown It looks like it begins to talk and then times out You are almost there! Can you show the contents of the ID_XXXX.txt file? Also, can you explain your bench setup? Do you have a dumb switch you can throw into the setup? Can you run wireshark and show us what it's doing?

The ip defaults to a xx.xx.1.108 and it doesn't matter if it is static or dhcp as during boot, it broadcasts this ip... If anyone is listening it will talk to it, if not it will go to the "assigned ip" that was given to it...

The ip defaults to a xx.xx.1.108 during boot (cool idea from mfgr) and it doesn't matter if it is static or dhcp as during boot it broadcasts this ip for these specific purposes (ie FW flash)... If anyone on that subnet is listening it will talk to it, if not it will go to the "assigned ip"...

Ensure you setup your laptop nic exactly like the unbrick thread. Its configured that way to pick up broadcast ips... iirc, the nvr broadcasts the .108 ip also

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Yep, I experienced this recently, I had to create a "new email account" to get another month... Now I see my new account (that has been running a few weeks and was stating 6 days left) has 28 more days? I wonder if one could leverage the API and capture plates this way? (For free)?

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Hi @riluxg There is 2 pieces to the adjustments I had to do - In visual studio adjust the timepicker...Looking at it again, I think it was the "dtp_end" time picker object that was giving me issue (just check them both) Make sure you are in design mode for the interface, single click on the...

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Ayo! Re-reading the thread helped add Message Boxes to the error trapping to "see" what the errors really were/are... At times, I see "Device is not ready" so I may have to kill the msgbox, but it's finally working... The 2 main fixes I had to do - Adjust the "MaxDate" Date Time Picker...

OpenALPR Tool - Save and Query CSV Exports

Here are a few hurdles I encountered while setting things up -- LPR Viewer MaxDate on the DateTimePicker was set to a date in the past and the "new time" (Now) was greater than that date. I just set the MaxDate on the DTP object to something like year 9999 Currently the viewer is failing on...

    Big update!! NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000000.0.R.20190713

Just noted that my local audio files no longer play through the HDMI or via Audio outputs on the NVR. This is tested locally connected to my TV. I have an audio clip of dags barking that plays when a certain area of motion trips, this appears to no longer function? Edit - deleting the files...

Question 1 - Yes, I would recommend letting the cam get an IP first from the NVR, seemed to be easier AFTER the flashing that the cam would "revert" to the NVR assigned IP after the flash... I could walk away from the TFTP server and check on it after the flash was complete (view wireshark and...
