Sorry to keep bumping this thread, but for those interested, I went ahead and flashed the NVR to the new v4.0 (4.000.0000001.4.R.191129) and all is well... :) -

Nice, upgrade to V4.0 11/29/19 went just fine on my 4XXX-8P-4KS2, everything appears to function "as it was"... The "clientless" feature (HTML5?) in chrome is nice, although I can't seem to figure out how to display more than 4x cameras? Also noted, I still only see the Start/End Talk and...- d.lux

I don't see anything "new" from the cross-flash, but I believe the benefit now is I can get future firmware updates from Dahua :cool: -

Wellp, the NVR flashed just fine to FW - DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V3.216.0000003.0.R.190521 Just need the txt file "ID_YourSerialNumberHere.txt in the root folder with the following lines - (be sure to blow out the other image files from the camera and copy in the files from the nvr binaries)... -

Are the NVR firmwares located in the "easy unbricking" thread? What version fw did you use? Did you lose IVS? Did your Cameras come back ok? Thanks for the info -
