Static Lens on Huisun Ip Cam

Static, as in interference/artifacts in the images? Other's have commented on the appearances of slight movement, as if the camera isn't firmly fixed (even when it is). I'm not sure what the fix was, if there is one. You may be able to clean your image up a bit by allocating it some more...

Static Lens on Huisun Ip Cam

Not sure what you mean by the static view @patrocle. Were you trying to zoom and it didn't?

Mini PTZ camera impressions! 2015 PTZ camera of the year? AVOID THIS CAMERA

As far as I'm aware the main benefit is the Ambarella CPU. It should provide significantly better image compression (including H265) and hopefully better image quality. With a bit of luck it will also allow for other improvements in "image processing" including motion detection, but that's just...

    BI Compatability

In theory Caspy anything that's ONVIF compatible should be OK with BI. However some manufacturers don't seem to be fully compliant, or use older versions; so it's no guarantee. There may not be anyone here with those particular cameras working with BI so you may need to roll the dice...

2mp 1080p Low lux Hisilicon POE camera

Sounds hopeful Q! The one I ordered a month ago has just now reached this part of the world, so I *may* even get it before next year... Thanks for the firmware, will download and put it on ice for a bit.

Curious why there is no ACTI specific section

It's probably more to do with the volume of posts on the topic rather than a statement on the perceived quality.

    Mini PTZ v1: Firmware Discussion

Re: Mini PTZ: Firmware discussion Anyone else having problems setting positions with this firmware? Since upgrading to this on one cam, if I set or change a position, it doesn't record the zoom, it just defaults to 1x. It remembers the position and even the focus (so if it's meant to be zoomed...

5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

Great stuff klasipca. If they respond by addressing at least the major issues it will not only result in a better camera, but also a great deal of faith in the company and their products. What they do next will be very telling...

5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

Sounds good. It looks like that motion blur at night is the main issue these have. GL!

Early Christmas Gift from Monica Wen

I don't have an NVR so I use the web UI (in the camera itself in other words). Looking at those pics I'm not even sure it's switched into night mode. And it's definitely not focused properly.

5 MegaGixel 1/1.8" low light destroyer for $90-AVOID LONGSE JUNK

Thanks for the info and images klasipca. The one I have on order I plan to use in a spot which has heaps of additional IR lighting so hopefully it will be OK.
