Happened today for me. I took the cover off. Still after 10 minutes no difference. It was now about 6pm so things were starting to cool down. But used a screw driver to push down all the connections again, and instantly camera came alive. Had my phone on me, doing a ping test.... So thinking...

    NVR recommendation please

Thankyou. How about a recommendation of a 16 channel NVR without POE? Doesn't need any network ports, other than 1 port for upload. Then can always buy more POE switches if i do increase from my 8 current cameras. Thanks again.

Dome camera losing signal on warm days

I got same issue. 2132 camera. On hot days, wont respond to pings. I thought it was a cabling issue, but never any problems on colder days. Was offline for many hours. I noticed a couple of times, it come back online for 30 seconds or so, before going offline again (including no response to pings)

    BlueIris memory leak?

Just noticed tonight that it appears my video card driver got updated automatically. I assume using Windows update. I am now on: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 Driver date: 7/10/2016 Driver version: 21.20.16.4534 I have now re-enabled HD acceleration option of "yes+videopostproc", and don't have...

using motion detectors to turn on lights

An update to my 'scripts'. I find geo-fencing doesn't work to well. So i use my scripts to do a 'ping' to detect if one of two phones are home. If both phones are away, then i change traffic signal to green. For the front door camera, if traffic signal is green, and it detects motion, i play a...

    BlueIris memory leak?

Using these very old intel drivers for video card, if i select HD acceleration option of "yes+videopostproc" then CPU for blueiris is reduced, but the 'system' process takes up 15% of the CPU. I did some analysis of this before, and it is due to interrupts on the video card. It is much better if...

    BlueIris memory leak?

BTW, where does blueiris get it's CPU percentage from? My CPU is sitting on 60% (blueiris process) without GUI open, 65% with GUI open. But within the BlueIRIS GUI, it says it is using 15% CPU. Ram is accurate though in blueiris GUI.

    BlueIris memory leak?

At least you know it affects me as well, running Windows 10. It is interesting we are using same onboard video card. I will plug a video card in over the weekend, and see if that resolves it. Not sure my new motherboard will accept my very old video cards though. Hopefully I will get some help...

using motion detectors to turn on lights

Requires a bit more hardware. But use opensprinkler. This is a computer which is mainly a for sprinkler. Then attach an RF transmitter to opensprinkler. Then it can turn on wireless PowerPoint. I use this now to turn on a big flood light when blue iris has motion detection in back yard. Sent...
