    Nothing ... the nvr was already working ok on 3.0.10 so it was just a simple case of upgrading the new firmware. Few things to check.. First is Open Port Check Tool This will confirm your external ip address and allow you to check if 8000 is open. Next is to make sure that in your router...

    Forward the 8000 port (or what ever it is if you have changed it) on your router, and all will / should be ok :cool: P.S if you are using a ddns service, then of course you will have to enter the correct details in the app, or if you don't have a ddns service then find your external ip address...

    Try this TFTP Make sure your pc is 192.0.0.128 Read the instructions re... Power off and power on the DVR/DVS/IPC Last time I 'broke' my nvr, I had to power on / off about 6 times before I got a connection. Good luck :-)

    There are many factors that have to be taken into account that can cause the nvr to sulk, the main one is the combined bandwidth of the cameras and how much the nvr can cope with So the answer could be 1080p .. it could be a mix of 3M and 1080p, or even lower than 1080p plus some important cams...

    Just tested on my NVR (for no good reason, other than seeing if it worked on NVRs as well as cameras) In the serial number from SADP, take out the beginning part of the serial which is the model number

    Just 'upgraded' my 7804N-E1/4P on 3.0.10 to the new 3.2.1 thats available (Thanks to alastairstevenson for spotting it) Used the header striping method and tftp it up as detailed a while ago on this fine forum 1st Impression .... WOW !! 2nd Impression... its fecking brilliant, more features...
