Getting a new computer (license) question
As long as your only running one install of BI then just enter your info in the new PC and all should be fine... the only problems arise when you try to use more than one pc at a time, using the same BI licence number.- DaveP

On that settings screen there is no save button, when you change things it auto saves and shows a little message Maybe its not doing it cos the 'plug in is not detected' When I had a problem with loading the plug in, I fixed it by going to the Local Configuration screen and selecting Live... -
Quick and easy cameras
Hi ccj64 As a test, or maybe even permanently for some of the cams, you can use a 12v psu and connect the camera to a non poe switch. BI is great (well 3.66 is :eek:) but nothing quite like an NVR as well for a back up plan, lol- DaveP

Is the NVR connected directly to the internet ? if it goes through a router / modem then what is the ip that's given by the isp ? -

It may be telling the truth then, lol How are you connecting.. using the ip address as found by http://www.whatsmyip.org or are you using a ddns url ? Did you check the ports are open http://www.canyouseeme.org ? -

More affordable is the 1.5MP version of the above.... and it works better in lower light situations. But CCTV is for after the event.. for prevention from advancing beyond the perimeter maybe an alarm system, or better still a dog (or geese) :eek: -

Well if size were to be 54" and the result was 6mm... Then if I've done my sums right.. the distance away to fill the image width would be about 6 feet 10 feet away = 10mm to fill the entire width & 15 feet away = 16mm, so if you really really want to fill the frame, then what I'd... -
