    Yep, bullet camera. I'd suggest temp mounting in some way, so you can move around to get a feel for how it's going to look in daylight and in the dark.

    Unreal.. it says the driver of the F-150 wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out on impact. Everyone survived with only minor injuries. Wow. Also, someone was charged with DUI...didn't say who, but I can guess.

    Don't forget to use compatibility view in IE. (Add that IP to the list) The plugin wouldn't run until I did that. (Also, watch for the banner that pops up at the bottom the 1st time, asking if you'll allow the plugin to run).

    Pretty much.. yes. In order for it to have been found, you must have exposed port 8000 to the internet on your router. I assume because you wanted to use iVMS or some such from outside your home network. So yes, changing the port is a must. I see lots of scans hit the outside of my firewall...

    If I connect to mine from mobile, the NVR reports a strange unrelated IP address instead of my actual public mobile IP. I'm still thinking it's some glitch happening to connections coming in through NAT... because it reports the proper IP on LAN connections every time. We got talking about it...

    Definitely test..because it may work fine.. I think the one-per-port thing might be a HikVision thing? I've just seen it mentioned a few times. The Swann I have is a rebranded Hik... not sure about yours. If you remember, post your results back on here..
