BI Finding Amcrest Cams, but not EmpireTech

I reset the camera, initialized it with password, getting the same results. It simply isn't letting me change the IP. Man fellas, I think I'm about to throw in the towel on this. Getting frustrated. The $50 amcrest cameras took all of 3 seconds to connect, and this $200 one has taken me 2...

Yeah thats what I tried, tried setting it to 192.168.0.108 and it says "IP address, gateway or subnet mask is invalid" Then if I double click, and change it, it says IP modification failed. I tried changing the gateway and the IP to 168.0

BI Finding Amcrest Cams, but not EmpireTech

So i've got my blueiris setup with 3 amcrest cameras, different models. All of them connected flawlessly via web browser and BI. Since everyone praises the Empire cameras I figured I'd give one a shot. I plug it into the switch, tried multiple ethernet cords. It shows up on my camera lookup...

Camera not connecting on new router setup

Hah, you're exactly right.. to be honest, I'm not even sure WHAT change I made that was the one that made the difference because I switched so many things up. Forgive my lack of a better term, but the thing that puts "squares" around people or objects seemed like thats what was causing the...

Camera not connecting on new router setup

Ahh, well I fixed that seemingly today with some tweaking - but now it seems my recordings lag. Live stream seems to be fine, but when I recall a recording every 10 seconds it skips/lags for a couple seconds. This is turning out to be a part time job :screwy:

Camera not connecting on new router setup

Hey all so for a quick background, this is my first blue iris system (am however decently familiar with POE and networking) I got a dell optiplex ,new poe switch and an amcrest camera to mess with and get started with at home. Set it all up, everything was working fine. Fast forward to today...
