    Perhaps I am misunderstanding or have not articulated the issue properly. The pc does not restart, the blue iris software stops and then restarts.

    I agree. I’ve tested it out with people up to the car at night. It is enough to be able to identify the person. Problem is that if i adjust the settings for cars, I won’t have enough available light for the faster shutter.

    The house was far down the road to the left, about 10 homes down and around a corner. So, there was no way any camera would have helped. The main goal of the camera was to simply watch over the driveway and our cars. Interesting comment about the color mode. I will check into that.

    Happened early Monday morning. Video was shared with police because the car that goes by in the video had gone by about 10 minutes earlier.     Thought I would post a final status - I have not had any issues after selecting a generic ONVIF camera stream in the blue iris system. So definitely a blue iris issue with this camera.

    Had the same issue, so reduced the max bitrate to ~6,000 (from ~8k).

    I just flashed the firmware to the newest, so thank you. I also put went back to constant bit rate to see if the firmware may have fixed the issue. Oh, its really nice not having to use a plug-in!

    To give an update, I did a change a from constant bit rate to variable bit rate and have not yet (knock on wood) had the issue. Perhaps a blue iris bug?

    I could not find that version, only 5.2.6.1. I figured I'd at least get support up until the next major version (e.g. v6). I can understand a major release, but don't think its right otherwise. Oh well. Product works.

    It does occur on video recorded by Blue Iris. I do not have a SD card in the camera. Other cameras on my network are working perfectly. I have done the typical BI updates, but have not touched anything in the camera itself or BI settings. Thanks for your help so far.

    I am also having a problem. RAM usage keeps rising. intel 4770k haswell with intel graphics. Have changed graphics driver but no luck. Didn’t notice until I added a Dahua camera, but am unsure if that had anything to do with it. Don’t see why it would.
