The only changes I have made from factory settings is set a static IP and change default gateway. I'll try dhcp and see what happens. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

No other way to power the camera than with the switch. I'll give another camera a shot in a bit and report back. Desktop is using static IP. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

Yes, I can connect from the computer. Just not via VPN. Pinging from VPN just says 100% packet loss and tracert does't get any further than VPN IP.

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

To confirm, I CAN connect to the camera from my computer. The camera's static IP is within the same range as all my other devices. Default gateway is set as the IP of my router. The error message is the same I got when I could not connect to the switch. I connected my printer to the switch...

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

I just looked and the switch does not have a gateway. Reads as 0.0.0.0 What should I set this as? SEMI-Fixed it: WOW, can't believe the problem has been so simple all along. Default gateway needed to be set on my switch. I can confirm I can now get into the switch from the VPN, but I am...

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

Sorry for the delayed response, had a crazy busy weekend. Anyways, I just tried adding a second username, reentered the advanced settings, and exported the new client file. This DID NOT work, I still can't access other devices on the LAN from the second username.

No you are correct. I didn't think that mattered. My switch is the only power source I have for the camera. I'll try to see what else is connected right now and try that. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Yes. Completely removed profile from OpenVPN app, Set advanced settings on server, export client file, import from SD to OpenVPN app on phone, then I can successfully connect to VPN and can access router and internet but not my switch. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    VPN Problems via ASUS Router

So I looked at this and the only way I can figure out how to do a tracert from my phone is through the router. And I don't think that helps because the switch I'm trying to access is connected to the router. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
