Anyone Else Have This Issue? Alerts and Timeline Goes Blank After Deepstack Update

Do you mean here? I don't have it checked on any camera.

Anyone Else Have This Issue? Alerts and Timeline Goes Blank After Deepstack Update

I've updated to 5.4.3.1, but it seems to have happened after the Deepstack update. I have Deepstack AI running on about 8 cameras and it seems to be working well. But, after a bit of time, all the alerts will be blank and the timeline as well. Restarting puts it back to normal. All cameras...

    Manually Updating BI

The updates are doing something weird with me lately too. On the past couple updates, when I click the gear icon and there is an update available, this is the box that opens. Everyone of the tabs is blank too. When there are no updates available, clicking the gear icon opens the normal...

    Outgrowing Blue Iris?

I'm running an i9-9900K with similar specs and and normal ops is aprox 2-3%. All because of enabling substreams.

    Weird ipcamtalk Sign In Option

I've never seen this on ipcamtalk. Only on this one thread, I get a pop-up that requests username and password. As you can see in the top right of the picture, I'm already signed into the forum. Any ideas what's up?

Anyone here move from Smartthings to Hubitat?

I've been using Smartthings for a few years now and have been generally happy with it. Like you mentioned though, outages seem to be more and more regular from what I've seen. I'm thinking about switching over to Hubitat also.

Another, what hardware. Rack mount/Quick Sync/25 cameras on BI

Plenty of rack-mountable options. I'm a big fan of supermicro enclosures. For your application, you'll probably not want someone to be able to come up and pop out a hard drive. But there are other styles. Micro ATX board with an i9-9900K processor. I put it together before substreams were a...

FedEx Attempted to Deliver a Package Today (Origin: Wuhan) | However, did not order anything from abroad

Unfortunately, it happens. Especially at the rate of things being shipped nowadays. I've moved WAY more cargo between April and today than I did all last year. Glad you got it straightened out.

Using sub-streams dropped CPU utilization down dramatically:

I built a system with an i9-9900K to handle multiple 8mp cameras. (It got out of hand a little while ago...now I'm just adding cameras because I can). This was before substreams was a thing. With substreams enabled, I dropped from 27% -30% to showing between 0% - 2%. LOL. 0% CPU usage...

    Camera installation location recommendation

I got rid of the NVR first and went Blue Iris. As the budget allowed, I upgraded the cameras. As I upgraded and added cameras, I ended up upgrading my Blue Iris machine and that's where I'm at today.

    Camera installation location recommendation

LOL. So true. I too started with the ole Costco kit. Ended up ditching all of it after a year for a better setup.

Server Rack - adding components - cable management - suggestions please

After all the RAID/ZFS is accounted for, probably around 250TB. The good thing is that half of those caddys are empty, so I can expand easily.

Server Rack - adding components - cable management - suggestions please

Here's my current setup. I put patch panels around each of my switches and use RJ45 female to female keystones. The only issue I've had with this is that it's sometimes difficult to get to the middle of the patch pannel between two switches. I have one switch on the back of my rack along...

What router are you guys using?

I'll preface it with the fact that when they work, they work very well. But, about once a year or so, I've had access points and the cloud key just randomly fall off and then it's a pain in the ass to provision...as in, it won't, or it's not just a simple re-provision and it's back working...

What router are you guys using?

I have 6 Unifi access points running off of a Unifi POE switch. Of all of my network gear, Unifi is probably the one I'm the least impressed with. When I upgrade to the next generation, I'll be using something other than Ubiquiti.

What router are you guys using?

I built a pfSense machine. 10GbE and multiple VLANs.

I’m using that motherboard on mine with an i9-9900K. Been flawless for about a year now.

    Dahua Pinhole Camera

No. The DH-IPC-HUM8431-L3 is just a lens, not a whole camera. Your NVR only connects to cameras via ethernet cable. The cable isn't the same. It won't physically connect. Even if it was using a standard ethernet cable, all of the camera processing takes place in the DH-IPC-HUM8431N-E1 unit...

    Dahua Pinhole Camera

The DH-IPC-HUM8431-L3 unit is just the lens. The 8m cable isn't an ethernet cable...it's just a data cable that connects to the main part/guts of the camera...DH-IPC-HUM8431N-E1.

What's your Blue Iris Setup like? (List Specifications)

Its fairly well ventilated, so pretty much whatever it is in the room. I plumbed in a 300cfm bathroom type fan in the ceiling, and there's a hole in the door, so it does a good job of moving air. Its plumbed into my central air, so sometimes during the spring or fall when the AC or heat is...

What's your Blue Iris Setup like? (List Specifications)

I built a machine specifically for multiple 4K cameras using an i9-9900K. (Of course that was before BI used substreams.) 32GB of memory. All tucked nicely in my rack.

    UniFi-Video Products End of Life...

As WiFi 6 and other newer standards come online with new phones, tablets, devices, etc, I'll expect to upgrade access points to keep up. My main problem with Unifi is that every once in a while, they just drop off and I have to re-adopt/provision. It doesn't happen often and when they work...
