    I believe this is why someone is sometimes shot when the police say show your hands and the suspect starts reaching for his cellphone (for example). Being shot twice in the chest with a high powered rifle doesn't mean instant immobility.

    I have a similar problem with an old Chinese DS-2CD2132-I with the cbx fix. The BlueIris computer won't see it unless SADP is running. I just leave SADP running all the time.

    I had to buy from the Roku app store for $4.99 Ip Camera Viewer Pro (not the Robert Chou one) to get ip cameras to work. It also works with Blue Iris if you are looking for computer viewing software.

    MarcW, when I first installed cameras, I put a ptz on top of a 12 ft piece of galvanized iron pipe, stand alone, with 80lb of concrete. The sway from even a moderate breeze drove me crazy. Lightning ended that camera. Hopefully the guy wires and fastening to the building will work for you.
