    After googling around, I think the 1/2.7” CMOS sensor is an Aptina/ON semiconductor sensor. The 1/2.8” CMOS sensor is a Sony Exmor.     I believe the 22204 has an IR cut filter and sees IR lighting, but doesn't have IR lighting. You could add external IR lighting.
