    Also for California, Arizona and other hot states, SuperCapacitor is a must. Lithium batteries tend to bulge under a year and destroy cams.

    Its GPU times :) But yeah i tried multiple stable versions of BI, same result. I think it is windows update that did something. I had it somewhat stable for a month or two. Now is just a week of uptime at best. Will try to move it to newer machine and fresh install. PS the failing cam...

    Lol yep in process of recycling my old 4790K machine for BI, DeepStack does have GTX 970 for processing staff :). Its actually 3 cams right now and all of them for ALPR. The rest of cams are on entirely different NVR.

    Hmmm it could be Deepstack's doing. It is on i7-2600k old but cpu is not loaded above 30-40% 16 gig of ram. BI is a service, bios set to auto power on.     BI is amazing NVR for the price. However i experience reliability issues in my install (reinstalled 3 times already on 2 different machines) . I can't just leave it running and forget about it. Sure enough 3-4-5 weeks later go in to check footage and find BI not running or not running...

    It might have been shipped on 21, usually it takes a whole week (7-8 days) to get from PA to CA. But delivery schedule usually does show delivery day 2-3 days before delivery.

    Any explanation on these guys? Old firmware had min max plate pixels instead. And you can select what direction to scan on different page (front, back, both) so what is the difference between 1 and 2 then :idk:?

    Ok this might shed some light . The one i got from BH was gen1 the one i just got from Andy is gen2 On the DahuaWiKi 21-07-20 is latest for gen 1 and 21-07-19 latest for gen 2 . @EMPIRETECANDY does your source have fresher one for gen 1 camera?
