    Latest New NVR5xxx-4KS2 General_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000006.1.R.210709

The cameraname on the GUI of the webcam is not changed. Also, the name can be changed there, but the name does not get synced with the NVR.This is not a uncommon problem in this thread. I wish I could downgrade from the latest version (V4.002.0000000.5.R, Build Date: 2022-07-29) to any older...

No difference :( When I save, I see "Operation Succeeded" in green. If I then leave "CAMERA NAME" and go to anything else on the NVR and go back to CAMERA NAME, it is again IPC for all cameras :/ @Wael Are you having the same problem?

No errors. If I write CAM1, CAM2, CAM3 etc...on all the names and press "Apply" and then go to "Live", sometimes I see one or two that got the good name. When I refresh the page,it is all gone again and everything is reverted to IPC for all cameras.

I tried to change it on the NVR, and on the webgui of the camera (and on the webgui of the camera using internet explorer with the activeX component enabled, someone said it could make a difference). Nothing works. I get daily confronted with all of them having the same name (IPC) , in stead of...

    Need help choosing NVR

Yes it is possible. You then just need a Dahua NVR, a dahua camera, a router (without internet will work). Then connect the camera and the NVR to the router. Configure motion detect. Install the android app Gdmss plus and configure it to give notifications. The whole guide is here:

    Need help choosing NVR

Without internet, the only alternative I see is to buy a NVR with a RS232 port. This way, you can make it create an alarm (on the RS232 port) and with an addon (alarm system with SMS slot), you could SMS yourself (or call). This is the only way I can think of without any access to internet.

NVR / onvif / compatibility question

Yesterday, a bird finally visited the nest box when I was looking and I saw the "IsMotion: true" popup every second! So I will buy a new NVR then. It is going to be the Dahua NVR5216-4KS2 or the NVR5232-4KS2 (Still in doubt, because I have 14 cameras)

NVR / onvif / compatibility question

I will wait until a bird is visiting and then I will quickly check the tool. Thank you for the good advice

NVR / onvif / compatibility question

That looks promising! Still doubting on what NVR to buy though. I wished that some company would make a NVR with extreme compatibility. The reason they don't do this is because they want the customer to buy their own cameras. If only a company would make ONLY NVR's :) It probably is too much...

NVR / onvif / compatibility question

It looks like this (no motion now and I cannot control this, because I have to wait until a bird visits) Does this look like Onvif S to you? (because it says IsMotion: false) every second.

NVR / onvif / compatibility question

Hello, At the moment I have a very old Dahua NVR (DH-NVR4232-4K). The onvif version of the NVR is 2.04. I also have lots of chinese cameras that work great (see picture at the bottom :) , but motion detect doesnt work, even though it works with a chinese NVR. I dug a bit deeper into this and...
