    Bigredfish, no fence but why is better to get the initialize from a pc than the nvr? I made few installs with nvr initialize without pc and it is very easy. The only thing i have found is that when you setup period for ivs is better to do it from the camera setting and not from the nvt

    If they dont work you simple buy new. Heheh make good choices for your system . It worth the money. I saw many systems of my friends and how horrible is the night view and believe me it worth to spend some money for it.

    Your cameras are AI (can recognise human and vehicle) so get an NVR 4xxx or higher series and you will get very good results i think. Compare the prices from sellers through internet and get the best one but be carefull the chinese versions because you can't upgrade their firmware.

    You can do it directrly from the nvr or you have to hit the nvr ip address to a laptop and choose the ie button at cameras to get you on the cameras config. I found this better way because the period time dont work from the nvr, it send me 24h notifications.

    You should get a better quality cameras for your home. The price is not that high for the ip cameras nowdays. Check on the specs of your camera the min. Illumination and try to force color at night and see if can get you a better image.
