    Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME - New video doorbell

    AIN1 and GND ( alarm input 1) is used as doorbell switch. You must enable alarm ( manually on the indoor unit ) adn just connect wires from doorbell to indoor unit. You don't need any voltage, just contact, Indoor unit produce doorbell sound.

    Can you get 3G/4G router? They are not so much expensive. Why complicate so much when you can insert SIM card in 3G/4G router and connect IP camera to router via ethernet cable and use HIK-CONNECT? Use SD card inside of your camera. You can't expect miracle's every time.

    This is CCD menu in my KD-8003 fw. 2.0.8 build 191120. But i don't have US firmware, I have EU baseline.

    I haven't worked with Dahua, but try to enable ONVIF on camera and create ONVIF user ( on camera).

    There is no reset button, you must reset it trought IVMS.

    If you had upgraded FW to 2.0.8 and 2.1.2 you need to factory reset. We had a lot of headache before that, date would be wrong, call won't work...

    We are working with 2gen HIK VISION intercom for some time and sound quality was never a problem. It has some problem when you have buildings with 120+ apartments but sound was never a problem. I know that sound can be bad when your power is not on the level, you are using PoE switch?

    I had the same problem with DS-7608NI-I2/8P. FW upgrade didn't help, but default reset did. And it's working now. It's not the happiest solution but it's working.

    With new FW 2.1.2 there is enabled ONVIF protocol, but it won't wor with all cameras. We tried with Avigilon but it wasn't working.

    Solution is to enable door 2 relay via IVMS config. Click on IO output and you will see door 2. Just enable it as door lock. btw. in picture is 1gen outdoor with 1 relay, but it's the same spot for config.

    Yea sorry, i misunderstand you ( was thinking about button). You are right, you connect to AO1 and program indoor unit to trigger relay 1 when call happens.

    Ok. You connect + from power supply to doorbell +, - from power supply to GND on indoor unit and connect wire from AIN1 to - on doorbell. That's it.

    You need to connect wired to AIN1 and GND ( see back side of indoor unit ). And you don't need any power supply. Indoor unit produces doorbell sound.

    Looking into the Hikvision 4mp 25x zoom DS-2DE4A425IW-DE

    I have just one negative comment on that camera. Auto tracking isn't working so good. When she starts to track one object she get confused very quickly and view goes nowhere. This isn't happening very often but often enough if you want error free auto tracking :)

    You connect Cathode to + od power supply and Anode on -. Diode Rectifier - 1A 50V ( one type of diode ).
