    You are not required to do that but it would be nice, i learned that at my old firm. Older colleague that's working this job over 20 years told me to use diode always. That's expanding life time, not doing damage to electric bolt if there is some problems with electriciy.

    Don't know what outdoor siren you are using. You should see tech spec of your siren for power. If you use 12V-2A you can triger siren via DVR/NVR. + from power goes directly to siren + , - from power go to COM and Output from DVR/NVR goes to - on siren. That should work.

    I haven't heard that from HIk tehnical support, just some experience. Electric bolt sometimes uses 250mA, and if you don't use diode it could easly do damage to your outdoor unit. But that's my opinion. I belive that you should always use external power for things like that.

    It's not recomended to use 12V output on KD8003, use external power. It will expand life usage of your main unit.

    Issue from 200000+ usually is stream problem. Check your bandwidth, maybe smaller bit rate will help.

    When you are plugging non HIK camera onto HIK NVR you must use ONVIF protocol to connect camera.

    IF you are planning to install some cameras you must factory reset them before plugging them into PoE ports of NVR. If you don't do that cameras won't take adress and pass from NVR. In that case you need to change from plug&play to manual and insert ip adress, user and password info.

    Great. Maybe your electric lock doesn't spend too much, but really higly recommend to use external adapter. With that you will expand life time of outdoor unit.

    Don't do that. that 12V on outdoor unit isn't ment for powering electric lock. It won't work. If you measure you'll get 12.00V on that ouput, it's not enough. Use power adapter.

    Did you managed to resolve this? You must use NO/NC1 output on your outdoor unit. Your electric lock must use 12V.

    Hi, we have tested PWA32-HSR model and we are not very satisfied. Big problem is with sirens ( you can't turn off bell squak). Every time you arm or disarm your system siren made loud 2-3 sound.     She does have smart tracking. But in my case she gets confused very quickly ( not every time but 2 out of 5 maybe ).
