    Glad you got it working, have fun! FYI I have used SADP on Windows 10, so there's no fundamental reason it shouldn't work if you decide to try again. There must be a setting that needs fixing, somewhere.

    Do you have 2-factor authentication turned on for Google? Don't know if that would kill remote SMTP but I bet it would. Did you reduce your Google account security settings? That's important for sending mail from the NVR. Follow the directions here...

    I set up a park position and timeout on my v2 and it does park correctly after a power-cycle. Hopefully the screwy self-test is just a quirk and there are no deeper issues.

    I tried it both with a 12V wall wart and with POE from my NVR. My v1 worked fine with both those sources. Hope my v2 ain't goofed up... but when you roll the Chinese dice, sometimes you're gonna lose.

    Any way to set up a Hik/LTS NVR for graceful shutdown when running on UPS power?

    There is a hard power button on the front of the unit. The best thing I can think of for auto-shutdown is rigging a gizmo connected to a computer that knows when to "press" the button by closing a relay. That might be fun to build but I sure wish that feature was built in.

    On my v1 I used settings someone else posted and 1/425 shutter did the job of freezing plates while also making a usable image during daylight. You may not need to go all the way to 1/1000.
