    Review-Dahua IPC-K35A 3mp Cube Camera

Which one of these do you like more Looney? I have about 9 Annke ones for indoors, and though they are good enough, curious to know your thoughts of the Dahua compared to the Annke one in terms of video/audio quality. and if it is worth the upgrade?

Dahua cameras not holding correct time

Thanks Mark. I am also not an expert and though like the higher end equipment, unfortunately do not end up using half the crap in it, nor the basic stuff either apparently lol

Dahua cameras not holding correct time

So if all my cams record to a Synology DSM system via Surveillance Station, would the Syno have to be on the 10.10.2.x or 10.10.3.x? just trying to see how would I set this up if I wanted to be able to view the cams when connecting to my home VPN from my mobile, or even while being home to be...

Dahua cameras not holding correct time

I noticed you mention to prevent the camera from connecting to the internet. How can I accomplish this? I have a ubiquiti set up. USG, 500W switch, HD APs and AP Pros. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. You may be right. I will have to wait for looney2ns to review his. Either way, awesome write-up and thanks for your contribution and work on getting this review! I was actually thinking of getting the mini PTZ you mentioned in the above post, but then saw the Starlight+...

ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

Wouldnt be able to answer that since I only have the Annke 2MP cams. I dont see why it WOULDNT work as long as the firmware is 5.3.5, but once again, no guarantee's, so do not hold me responsible for any wrong-doings

ANNKE I61DR 2MP (Hikvision Cube Clone)

If anyone needs these files since they're no longer available on HIK's website. See the link below. Luckily I still had them available on my PC from a while back. HIK FIRMWARE IPCAMTALK.rar

Installing First IP Cam - Need Some Hand Holding

Hey, have a similar set up, but I have ubiquiti everything. I recently obtained a USG, 3 AP Pro's, 48/500w Switch. I am a bit of a n00b when it comes to ip cams and such, but have tinkered with them. I have about 7 x 2mp of the Annke hikvision rebrand cubes, I have 3 dahua 5231ze for the...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Is this firmware for the DB1 from Uniden / LTS / LaView / RCA?

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Have a Ring Pro, as well as the Uniden DB1 or whatever the model was. Liked the Ring Pro due to its ease of use, but did not like it for the fact that I had to reach out to the cloud, the delay, and the lack of being able to record 24/7 locally to an NAS Liked the Uniden due to the fact that you...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Same here. I just checked the RCA app, and its offline. though a motion was triggered this morning when I left the house, so not sure how long it has been "OFFLINE" but the camera is up and running because it is recording to my Synology DSM Surveillance Station just fine.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I was told that some have this issue and was told that it clears up within a day or so, but the steps that I take appear to resolve the issue

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

That is exactly what I meant. Log out from the RCA app, force stop the app, go back into it, log in with the hikconnect account, go click on the camera, go to settings, click on the area where you start to draw, if you get the same grid with no image, click on Live View within that grid, and...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

had the same thing, log out from the app and log back in with the hikconnect account. that solves it for me every time.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Yes, agreed, on a computer it is a lot easier with a mouse, but the RCA app is definitely far better and mimics the web interface a lot more than any of the other mobile apps for sure. Glad to know I am not the only one with the blackout in the videos. Hopefully a new firmware release will fix...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I had the same issue with the updated firmware. I downloaded the RCA Security app and re-setup the motion zones and lowered the sensitivity to 1 or 2, and that solved my problem with all the cars passing by. Give that a shot. But I still have my gripes of every now and then the camera detects...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

The past couple of days I've been getting motion notifications to my phone but what I noticed is that right before the last 2-3 seconds of the video, the video goes dark (including timestamp) and then goes back to the picture and then the video ends. Anyone else experience these blackouts mid...

    Review-Dahua DB-11 Video Door Bell

Looney, how would you compare the DB1 from Hikvision to the DB11 from Dahua? Which is better/worse and why?

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I wish their wedge mounts were cheaper because for my Ring Pro, I had 4 wedges to bring it out to face the way I need, plus 1 facing down, so 4 side wedges and 1 tilt wedge. Purchasing that from Nelly's would be the cost of a new doorbell. Seems silly

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation of the RCA app. App is stellar! Not a single false notification as of yet, been 48+ hours at this point. Only gripe is that I cannot jist swipe to remove the motion notification, have to actually go into the app. But at lease its steady! Thanks...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Thanks :) Will give it a shot. hopefully I like this more than hikconnect and will stick with it because the hikconnect is terrible with motion. but I do love that I can record to a local nas

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Just tried on the RCA app and for whatever reason when I go to Draw Motion Detection Area, it comes back with "Image load failed. Please live view and return to try again", so I try that, but it doesnt actually load the image....
