Password is wrong and GetEvents error?

Weird that it's showing this way on 9 of my cameras. I wonder if this is why I was struggling to get IVS captures with this Z12 when it was pointed at the path.

Password is wrong and GetEvents error?

Version 5.9.9.36 I had a B54IR-Z12E that was already added to BI. It was working fine. I took it down but this morning decided to use it somewhere else. When trying to add it again, I am getting this message when running Find/Inspect. I know the password is correct because it still had a...

Looking good. I am working on something similar, but it's meant to sit on top of one of those post sleeves. https://www.ipcamtalk.com/threads/i-need-more-hobbies-working-on-a-pvc-post-discrete-camera-housing-a-better-birdhouse.80048/

SOS, Need a 220v Ethernet switch

Another option is using the appropriate C13 cord above with a 110v/240v to 12v power supply; then you could use any switch that required 12v. Options are out there. You will just need to pay attention to the item details.

SOS, Need a 220v Ethernet switch

So, nothing special as far as ports, speed, or size? This TP-link rack mount switch accepts 100v-240v. https://a.co/d/9ujmCgM Then use a C13 to appropriate plug on the other end. https://a.co/d/hbAOHTv (Schuko) https://a.co/d/fnbRcz1 (UK)

SOS, Need a 220v Ethernet switch

I'm not an engineer, but 12v is 12v. As long as the power supply is giving the proper output, and rated for the given input, it doesn't matter what the switch requires. Here is a 100v-240v input, 12v output, power supply. I would be surprised if the power supply included with some switches...

    New Store - Camera Recommendations

Same. I would maybe use one to fill in some Overview/Detect gaps, but they would not be primary views.

    New Store - Camera Recommendations

Businesses can usually get away with cameras that aren't on the ideal MP/Sensor setup because they tend to always have the needed light and you don't struggle with low-light night captures. That dome could work. Distance also lowers the angle, so the further from the door you can get it, the...

    New Store - Camera Recommendations

Where are the display cases? I would consider more coverage from behind the counter knowing the nature of the store. This is footage from a local store that had an attempted theft. The thought with the door coverage is everyone has to come in through the door. So, even if you don't get a good...

    New Store - Camera Recommendations

Not knowing the type of retail, you might also consider one directly over the check out counter, looking down; possibly a 3.6mm.

    New Store - Camera Recommendations

For the externals, I would go with B54IR-Z4E. No reason to not give yourself the added focal length. How high are the show room ceilings? I would add one in the show room, that is zoomed in on the door. Lower height would be better, to get under hats to see faces. This could possibly be a...

Ok. I just wanted to make sure you weren't basing quality of captures off of the sub stream.

    PTZ recommendation

That distance is going to be hard for a 12mm to read a plate, but I just want to make sure your streams are set up correctly. What you posted are screen shots from your sub streams.

    I have a problem

They are literally everywhere around central Indiana. Not that I am a ne'er-do-well, but I have been considering a license plate cover of some sort so that I can't be as easily tracked around town.

Long outdoors network cable run – Part 2 ... Fiber Optic run working

I didn't pull near 400', but for my 60-80' run it made a big difference compared to the other, shorter runs I did.

Long outdoors network cable run – Part 2 ... Fiber Optic run working

Unless I glanced over it, and it's too late for you now, instead of using a single 90* conduit bend, use two 45* pieces to make the 90*. It is much easier to pull this way, especially at distance.
