Nest Thermostat with Home Assistant?
My two cents... I run Hubitat as my "main" hub, but also have an AppleTV 4k that runs HomeKit, and I have picked up Home Assistant. I also have two Nest thermostats. I have tried and tried, following the "Nest for Dummies" tutorials, but I cannot get my thermostats to work reliably inside...- jpc-s4

I'm not sure how it works where you are, but in many states I've lived in, I paid "under- and un-insured driver coverage" that was designed to cover this exact case (or in the case that someone has the bare minimum coverage and doesn't cover all the damage), and it's not considered a chargeable... -

I have cameras covering every door in the house (which consists of two sliding doors, two sets of French doors, one garage door, and three regular doors), except for one, since it's in a guest bedroom area. Through judicious placement, that's four cameras. Each of these doors are also covered...- jpc-s4
