Unknown hidden synchronization of data on asus RT-AC68U router.

What would have been synchronizing? Not aware of Asus doing that but someone else here may know more. 6.2 gigs sounds like a good chunk of data. There are no other computers on this network? No external storage usage like Google Drive? Those Shelly units talk to their "cloud" - when...

Unknown hidden synchronization of data on asus RT-AC68U router.

How do you know the traffic is from the router itself? Could something else on your network be generating this traffic? Your ISP will only see the ASUS traffic and not anything else on your network that's generating the traffic.

How long do you keep clips?

I know - I think I have a clip hoarding problem :) I do check every once and a while, I may go thru them and delete a few months of video just to clear up some space. No need to keep them if they aren't being viewed. I do like to look back at the changes in season occasionally.

How long do you keep clips?

I keep them local for a week and then move them off to a Synology NAS. I think I have about a year of old clips, alerts etc. on the NAS.

    Bear drinks from birdbath

Yes - the camera is on a shed on my property. No bear attacks that I've heard of thru the local news. I know there have been a bunch of reports about bears "breaking into" houses in the nearby area. I was glad to see the bear didn't knock the bird bath over.

Read looney2ns post above. You’ll need to setup a VPN or open ports on your router - which is not typically recommended for security reasons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Setting up NetTime Time Sync Tool on Windows 10

Setting up NetTime Time Sync Tool on Windows 10

Make sure you check the box in settings called “Allow other computers to sync to this computer “ and set the logging level to debug. This should do the trick. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Blue Iris Web Server not found on port 81?

The first Ethernet adapter should only have 1 IP address. You have 2 - 192.168.1.x and then 192.168.55.x address. This may be leading to some of the confusion. The 2nd NIC should be on 192.168.55.x with no default gateway configured. This will be dedicated to camera access. The BI UI interface...

Dual NIC setup on your Blue Iris Machine

You won't be able to connect to the camera directly if it is on the private network controlled by that second NIC. The network your PC/Phone etc. is on, would need to connect to the Blue Iris server directly. If you need to change camera settings, connect to the camera from your Blue Iris PC...

    Port issue???

So with this install you have opened up ports for remote access? If so, you should at setting up VPN access so that the device is not exposed to the open internet. I realize that won’t solve your current problem but for after you get it all settled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Port issue???

Did you plug the NVR direct into the gateway with direct access to the Internet? It's possible it's been owned by a malicious individual.

When are you ordering your EV?

DMV shows the number as of Jan '22 is at 21,382 as compared to '21 when there was only 9,746. Problem today is, you can't find any new cars to purchase. There aren't any on the lots.

Reasonably easy way to recieve alerts on my Verizon phone?

It has to do with push notifications to the BI app and the use of the Rich 3D notification option which takes a few frames of video and packages them into the notification. Your phone running the BI app will want to make a connection back to the BI server to get those images. So, you either need...
