Is the light bouncing off a wall its mounted on? I have seen this myself on same model, there was too much wall in the image, moved it out and sorted it
This has been the case for years, I blame Hikvisions Onvif implementation. I have seen a tonne of issues with their Onvif on 3rd party devices, not only Dahua NVR's
Im writing a python script to save time adding groups of user permissions and users. I cant see it either. Such a vital function not to have an api for
There was early models of this series that had a reset button, but it actually did not work. Is there a forgot password option on the login screen, send a screenshot
Guys,
Anyone know if user groups and permissions for those groups can be added by the Dahua API.
I can batch users and assign them to already set groups, but there seems to be no available command for adding groups in the API.
Thanks in advance in anyone knows how to do this.
Any of my boys know an API call to add an Onvif user? Not in the API doc. Only how to delete an Onvif user. &accountType=1 seems to define the Onvif account section
This is Dahua's own words to me. They dont want people turning their XVR into a mini NVR and them losing sales. If you try receive a push notification through DMSS over the cloud p2p, you wont get it from that camera.
There was a link on this forum from some guys own personal One Drive. He used to keep all the latest unbranded General versions of Dahua firmware and did a great job at keeping it up to date. Link has died in the last few months. Wonder what happened to him?
I never got the white light to work.

I think Dahua's H.265/+ and AI Codec look horrible. I rarely suggest using them. When using 3rd party decoders such as you BI system, it most likely is not going to do the job for Dahua native codecs.
