NVR poe switch camera are offline
If the cmaeras are powered by a POE switch and are NOT plugged into the POE ports of a POE NVR, then it's likely that since this happened with your "Internet upgrade" that your LAN IP is on a different subnet from before and none of the cameras are configured in the NVR with the new subnet...- TonyR

That doesn't seem right which is why a p2p topolgy is used in the first place, but since I do not use it I'll defer to someone on the forum that has more knowledge of Hik-Connect. -

Maybe use the cam's IP with a port scanner (Fing, Angry IP, et.c) to insure the RTSP port and the ONVIF port are what they should be. Hard reset the cam again, even if you've already done it before, may be worth another. -

No argument there, good to hear this. :) That has not been my experience for some time now and I don't think that's the case with many others as well on IPCT, judging by numerous past posts. :cool: -
Outdoor ethernet cable questions
I'd protect the bare copper conductors in the CAT cable, even with no RJ-45, as moisture will wick up them much like osmosis and start the corrosion before the connector is crimped on and that's not good. I'd do as firefighter said in post #2: at least bag it and seal the bag around the cable...- TonyR

Google "nanny cams" and look for images of smoke detectors, motion detectors, clocks and power outlets with hidden cameras. I think one of your biggest challenges will be to find a cam that will provide a compatible stream that can be fed to a NVR or a VMS PC. More... -

You should not have to enable RTSP in the DVR which is why I did not mention it. Under network settings, however, it would be good to note what port is being used for RTSP if it's stated, 554 being the most common.- TonyR
