New "Action set" option in 5.9.9.64

yes, I use the same string on my IPC-Color4K-T180 and it works fine. Also use it on older Dahua cams. night profile string: user:password@192.168.200.149/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&VideoInMode[0].Config[0]=1 day profile string...

New "Action set" option in 5.9.9.64

I found that you do NOT need any delay between the web request. I had one of my cams wrong and that is why it wasn't switching. Now it all works great Action Set 1 I used for sunrise Action set 2 I used for sunset Then just added all the cams I want to change under ONE cam's...

New "Action set" option in 5.9.9.64

still playing around with it. I did find that I can just configure one camera to a "Action set1" but then just keep adding more cams, I also put a 1 sec. wait time between switching, not sure if it needed that, but it works great.

New "Action set" option in 5.9.9.64

Now you can configure the web request command to switch Dahua DAY/NIGHT profiles, without using the PTZ preset method. At this time Ken has added 8 "action sets" which each cam will require 2. I was hoping and he still may, just add the "web request or MQTT" command" as that is all we need to...

    BI5 crashes after 10 seconds.

I also like to check my crashdump folder to see how often BI crashes. C:\Users\BI\AppData\Local\CrashDumps You can open the .dmp files by using Windbg available in the windows store. I tried it but way too deep for me at this point :)

    SD5A425GA-HNR detects cat ??

I thought I noticed that on some of your first clips. Why I'm hesitant to try the animal firmware. I do not see that type of movement on mine. Maybe go through the global config once....just guessing what might cause that, like its too sensitive.

capturing loud sound (car horn) to trigger event in BI

I messed with it and could not get it to alert as well. Maybe someone else will chime in. I played with the sound detection in CPAI and it worked there, still waiting for that feature to be added in BI.

    SD5A425GA-HNR detects cat ??

Nice clips. I would like to make my tracking continue longer once the subject quits moving. As in the cat capture, my tracking duration was set to 60 seconds, yet this did not work, and it returned to home. So far, I think this is a setting we cannot adjust, once the subject stops, it would be...

    SD5A425GA-HNR detects cat ??

That is what I am running and yet mine will track an animal, even with the "human" target filter selected. But that's ok, it works great on people, and I hate to mess with the firmware.

capturing loud sound (car horn) to trigger event in BI

Have to tried using BI's method? It is supposed to support a custom sound using CPAI but never was implemented yet.

    SD5A425GA-HNR detects cat ??

I have had this happen a few times lately that my cam detects and auto tracks an animal. In this case it is a cat. But a while back it was a possum. Here is the clip from card: Here is my settings and firmware details: This is the clip exported from BI:

Storm tonight - Share your recent storm video....

I had a good one the night before roll in. I like the time lapse these, but I forgot to lock my PTZ in on that location, so I missed the part when it started to rain and hail. Can't see much at that point anyway :)

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

Never mind, I did get it to work, but the options are acting goofy. At first the check box was greyed out. Now I can't reproduce that lol

    5.9.9 - January 17, 2025 - More Pre-6.0 feature releases

Can anyone else verify that the time lapse feature is broken when trying to export a clip? 5.9.9.60 Mine is just greyed out, and fiddling with it I can get it checked somehow, but it does not work.

Yep, Blue Iris can be as complicated as you can make it. When you get old you forget all the things you had set to make things work the way you like. I am now simplifying my setup. LOL

AI deserved its own tab, I'm glad he made the update. I did find after the update a few of my cams had the "Periodic AI scan" box checked for some reason. Thanks for the heads up @jaydeel for the warning. I did check each cam to make sure the settings were what I wanted, and this does take time.

you need to have "use custom models:" checked. I attached my settings, but you won't need to have "Gpu" checked more than likely. I also show one of my cameras settings below as well.

New Weather API built in BI 5.9.9.29

You don't need to add any macros in BI. Ken has done the work for you. Just go to the cam and select "Edit overlays" then select "Add text/time" You then add the values you want as I show in my picture. I do not use all of the data, but you decide. %051, %052, %053°, %060%% hum, wind %057 %064
