UPDATE: Got it working!! Thanks so much!! The ethernet cable had come out! So popped it back in! Hopefully stays in now! Thanks again! Just a quick one, it's saying there is an update for the cameras. Is it worth doing? Thanks- jayv

Morning! I just opened up the camera and hit the reset button for 30s. Came back to the web service, refreshed it but it's doesn't seem to be picking it up automatically?- jayv

I got in touch with the guy who installed he said this to me below: Hi mate the camera creates it’s on address once installed and will require the port clearing and a hard reset on the camera itself to reinstall to the system. That's correct and it comes up with a message saying 'failed to bind' I rebooted the nvr Update!: It worked i'm back and with playback woohoo! -

So, i deleted the device from my phone and tried to re add it via P2P mode and it keeps saying 'failed to bind' i then tried ip/domain and it connected and playback was working again. I then checked P2P was enabled on the NVR which it is. But don't understand why it won't connect on the app for P2P? -

I've played around with the picture settings on the camera. This I'd what I've ended up with. May need some tweaking. I'll have to get up on a ladder to move it. A job for a weekend I reckon. Always raining and cold here! -

Good morning kind sir! Glad that helps! I do have an external flood light above the camera so that does gi e it some light. The camera does have a small white light on there too. I doubt itll do much in that darkness though! I'll try putting it on manual, up the brightness to 100 and shall keep... -

ahh sorry! so the one below 'Mode' is called Illumination Overexposure Remover the drop own on it is only 'Off' or 'Face Priority' Also I think I found the device type under Device information: DH-IPC-HDW2849TM-S-IL it's 8mp. Which I believe are these... -

OK I'll set the camera IR mode auto on night profile see how that goes at night time and let you know. The sane settings are also on the nvr too where i can do contrast brightness etc? Is this different to canera settings?. I'm assuming it's best to just set it on the camera? -

These are two that struggle to detect motion at night cuz it's so dark. This one does have a flood light above it though. I put this at 80 (was 60) threshold 5 This one only picks up on the street at night. Same with this one 80 from 60. Threshold 5 Both have a wall but I really don't want...
