    It's hard for me to tell from the picture if the soffit under the porch is vinyl or aluminum held up with j-mold or is it solid wood? Can you take another picture that is a little more close up?

    Have you tried running the cameras in color mode at night? I'm curious to know how the picture compares to B/W mode at night? I'm guessing that you would have to have more ambient light.

    Hi Woodsie, Are you still happy with your 2CD4526FWD-IZH camera? Can you tell me does the camera have an Ethernet cable that comes out of the back like most of the other Hikvision cameras? Or do you bring your cat5 into the camera and terminate the rj45 inside the camera?

    Could you rotate the body of the turret camera 180° and then make adjustments in the camera menu to rotate the image back so that it's not upside down?

    If you use Sighthound to record your cameras the 30 fps seems to help the software correctly tag the motion as an object or a person.
